Raro. If you want, I will take you there. He said: Let it be so. He left the blind men aside and stole all the possessions of those blind men. Then those blind beggars arrived, and then that deceitful one went to where those blind men were, and said to those blind men: Can you go to a place where a lot of alms are given? They said: Do you think we have no friends? He said: Now, drop these hateful afflictions, and I will take you there. They abandoned what they had begged for and followed the deceitful one, and the deceitful one led them to a great cliff that was difficult to walk, and then he said: This place is flat and pleasant. From this place, a lot of alms will be given, he didn't stay there for too long, and he made a sound, shouting from the front: Come and receive great generosity! Shariputra, in this way, all those blind men were pushed into the great cliff, and they suffered because of impropriety. Shariputra, in this way, those blind men without eyes lost their lives because of food. Just like that greedy deceiver took all those blind men to the cliff and pushed them down, in the future, such things will happen, demons will deceive those monks with teachings that delude the world, and they will have great joy in the teachings that delude the world. They will be especially blinded and know nothing about the good Dharma. Shariputra, those monks who like sound and are attached to sound will appear, and their thoughts will be even more understood, and those monks who are keen on deceiving the world will be even more generous in dedicating wisdom and courage for them. Shariputra, those monks who are keen on the teachings of the Buddha will appear, but they will also be completely blinded. Because monks, the sutras spoken by the Buddha

When he has grasped two or three (points), he will think: I have finished the Buddha's teachings, now I will go and seek out and understand the worldly debaters. Shariputra, those monks who are worldly debaters will arise, and they will make them rejoice, saying: Only this is the best, only this is the most important. Just as those foolish men, those blind men, fall into a great precipice, so they will be overcome by the evil one. Overcome by craving and attachment, focused on the noise of the world, those who are called blind are like that. Shariputra, this is the term of abuse for monks, those who abandon the Buddha's enlightenment and seek the words of the naked ones. Shariputra, the term "deceitful" is the term of abuse for the evil one, because it leads to obtaining the wrong path. Shariputra, for example, those blind men abandon begging in the town, and are very happy to receive the offerings of a great patron, but are thrown into a great precipice. Similarly, Shariputra, those monks who abandon my teachings, are not content with ordinary alms, and seek great hospitality. They will be bound by the evil rope of noise, and will be thrown into a great precipice by the evil one, and those whose wisdom is corrupted and whose wisdom is completely lost will fall into the great Avici hell. Shariputra, for those monks who preach the Dharma without being completely pure, they have not completely understood all the Buddha's teachings, and they are not intelligent themselves, and they have not been trained, and they go into the sangha and preach the Dharma to others. At that time, he will think: This monk has the divine eye, or (he is) a deva, or (he is) able to know the minds of others, and besides (these), he also has five faults that people cannot know. At that time, he will preach the Dharma with hesitation, thinking: At that time, no one will argue with me, will they? This pain, which is difficult for ordinary people to understand, will remain in his heart, and

My pride is completely defiled by afflictions, and the words and letters are wicked. That is the result of sinful words, that is, the result of cause and effect, and the feeling of regret. If one is in the Sangha, one will be distressed because one harbors in one's heart a pain that is difficult for even ignorant ordinary people to understand. Because one does not understand the principles of the sutras, one will freely and openly preach the Dharma to others, but one does not have such wisdom. Therefore, his two states of mind are not easy for ordinary people to understand. That is uncertain wisdom, and the domination of pride, using the mind for trivial matters, and preaching the Dharma with pain without examining it because of attachment to relatives and friends, and for a long time, one will obtain the pain of greed, the pain of hatred, and the pain of ignorance. Why is that? Shariputra, even if some good state arises from the result of uncertain teachings, it will become like this: that state will also quickly disappear. Shariputra, I know very well the faults of those impure Dharma preachers, which are not known even by the monks and gods. Shariputra, furthermore, an impure Dharma-preaching monk, not understanding what the Tathagata has contemplated and spoken, preaches the Dharma to others. Regarding the Dharma of no sentient being, no life, no nurture, and no person that the Tathagata has proclaimed, they preach that this is I, a sentient being, life, or a person, and they also slander me, defame the Dharma, and slander the Sangha. Their result, except for the Tathagatas, the world with gods cannot understand or fully know. Shariputra, I also know the faults of those impure Dharma-preaching monks, which are not known even by the monks and gods. Shariputra, furthermore, an impure Dharma-preaching monk, not understanding the Bodhi of the Buddha, to others...
