Those, and whatever mindfulness exists, therefore they will say that by cultivating this path, they will be completely liberated from suffering. Shariputra, at that time, those monks will mostly become such patient ones. Shariputra, there, those gods who have gathered to listen to the true teachings of the Buddha, upon hearing such teachings, will feel great fear, thinking: We will completely fall into a great abyss! They will say: Alas! The teachings of the Blessed One Shakyamuni will quickly be pacified and will quickly decline! Shariputra, those monks who have made outstanding contributions to the victors of the past, whose roots of virtue have been firmly established, whose roots of virtue have been ignited, they will not praise those foolish old elders who have the perception of the aggregate of ignorance and the perception of self, who have entered the wrong path, who have false pride and wrong views, they will rise from their seats and leave. Shariputra, at that time, many gods will be especially delighted and will proclaim in all directions: How much more so since the disciples of the Blessed One Shakyamuni still exist! Why is that? Because these sons of noble families are not accompanied by meager roots of virtue. They do not rejoice in such impure patience, that is, not seeing it as a person. Thus, the many assembled gods, perceiving their thoughts, will generate joy and happiness, be especially delighted, and will especially proclaim great verses. Shariputra, those monks who are by nature thoroughly inquisitive, the Buddha's sons, will delight in the patience of no-sign, and they will together demonstrate such patience there. If one does not even utter a word of liking for one's own lineage, what need is there to mention dwelling in a monastery? What need is there to mention reverence? That is non-existent. Shariputra, behold, after the complete nirvana of the Tathagata, the sons who are exceedingly gentle, exceedingly pure, and possessors of forbearance without characteristics, those who are exceedingly suppressed and exceedingly abandoned at that time, how many Tathagatas will be densely oppressed? In any case, in order to have my sons abide in the happiness touched by the realm of the father, for their sake, from countless eons onwards, having conquered great battles and protected with the royal power of Dharma. Shariputra, in this way, this clear and vast Dharma-Vinaya will be divided by those great thieving sanghas like a great yak dividing the sangha. Shariputra, in this way, I, having manifestly awakened to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment in accordance with the Dharma, and having become a Buddha, neither a renunciate, nor a Brahmin, nor a god, nor a demon, nor Brahma, has turned the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma in the world in accordance with the Dharma. It will be turned in accordance with the Dharma, and not in accordance with what is not the Dharma. This place is manifestly and powerfully controlled by the world with gods. Shariputra, since there is such an obvious reason, after the complete nirvana of the Tathagata, when remembering this unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, even if asked in accordance with the Dharma, one will not be able to answer, and at that time, one will not give fearlessness to my sons either. For that jar of honey, almost all of the world with gods takes up weapons in their hands, guarding and hiding it, saying that whoever eats even a hair's breadth of a portion from this jar of honey, their life will also disappear.
