It is impossible to restore what is burdened by oxen and donkeys. Why is that? Shariputra, like this, even a hundred thousandth part of the alms given in faith by monks who have broken their vows cannot be completely purified, let alone robes or alms. This is not possible. Shariputra, I do not even allow a monk who has broken his vows, who is covered in the insignia of a hermit, to take a single step on the ground of a monastery, let alone a water vessel. What need to mention a bed or a small bed? Why is that? Shariputra, those who are not noble beings are thieves of the world with gods. Shariputra, those who are not noble beings should be expelled by the world with gods. Shariputra, those who are not noble beings are enemies of the world with gods, and they are called friends of evil. Shariputra, I make a distinction for the sake of teaching the Dharma to the world with gods. Shariputra, I drive away with gestures those monks who have broken their vows, those whose vows are broken, whose conduct is broken, whose livelihood is broken, and whose views are broken. If I do not even allow them to be seen, what need to mention approaching this doctrine for even a night, a day, or a moment? Shariputra, for example, the corpse of a snake, the corpse of a dog, the corpse of a human, unclean, rotten, and with an unpleasant odor, are not compatible with the retinue of the gods, nor are they compatible with the games of pleasure. If they are seen, they are completely avoided from a great distance. Shariputra, in the same way, the wise should regard a monk who has broken his vows as being like the corpse of a snake, and thus should be avoided from a great distance. Auspicious deeds, Uposatha, or expulsions should not be done together with them. Why is that? Because, like this, those foolish beings will bring long-term harm, unbenefit, unhappiness, suffering, decay, and being overcome by others.

is suppressed, and because of the complete downfall. They do not respect monks who possess discipline. They claim to be renunciates when they are not. They claim to practice celibacy when they do not, and they disrupt actions and activities, as well as fasting and things to be reproached. Shariputra, in my teaching, those monks who respect those who possess discipline, when they see monks who have broken their vows, will completely abandon them from afar. What is the reason for that? Shariputra, like the alms bowl or Dharma robes of monks who have broken their vows, if they are mixed with those of monks who possess discipline, it should be regarded as being mixed with poison. Shariputra, I would rather dwell in a place filled with the corpses of snakes, the corpses of dogs, or the corpses of humans, abiding in any of the four postures. Shariputra, I would not even want to dwell together with monks who have broken their vows, whose conduct has declined, whose livelihood has declined, whose views have declined, for even one night, or one day, or one moment, not even for the time it takes to snap a finger. What is the reason for that? Shariputra, such monks are called inferior renunciates. They are called poor renunciates. They are called ordinary renunciates. They are called crippled renunciates. They are called rotten renunciates. They are called defiled renunciates. They are called the dregs of renunciates. They are called the filth of renunciates. They are called the outcasts of renunciates. They are called fallen renunciates. They are called sinful renunciates. They are called hybrid renunciates. They are called outsiders to the noble path. They are called the water bubbles of renunciates. They are called those who denigrate renunciates. Those who renounce in my teaching will accumulate a great mass of non-merit. Shariputra, those people are the stoves of the Tathagata's teaching. Shariputra, those people are the thieves and slanderers of the Tathagata's teaching. Shariputra, those who are not noble beings are breakers of vows.

Given to pleasure, indulging in the hustle and bustle of the world, indulging in food and clothing. Shariputra, for example, a eunuch is neither a woman nor a man. Shariputra, similarly, a monk who has broken his vows is neither a householder nor a practitioner. Therefore, for them, the most truthful designation is simply hell beings. Shariputra, for example, when an owl is busy with bird affairs, it hides in a hole and acts like a mouse. When it is busy with mouse affairs, it joins the ranks of the birds. It has neither the power to act and move forward, nor does it make a loud sound, nor can it distinguish between good and bad colors. It only relies on dark caves, and its nature is also not fragrant. Shariputra, similarly, a monk who has broken his vows will also become powerless in action and movement. In the affairs of kings, he mingles with practitioners; in good affairs, he mingles with householders. Therefore, he is said to be neither a householder nor a practitioner. Just like a burning wheel of wood, action and movement completely disappear, and he has no fragrance of discipline, no fragrance of meditation, no fragrance of wisdom, no fragrance of liberation, and no fragrance of the wisdom of liberation. On the contrary, he only has the stench of breaking vows. He speaks words like a practitioner, such as words of discipline, words of meditation, words of wisdom, 《Jang Kagyur, Sutra, Dza》B words of liberation, words of the wisdom of liberation, words of attaining fruition, but he does not openly proclaim them. On the contrary, a monk who has broken his vows only likes hustle and bustle and open self-satisfaction. He mingles with those unreasonable things and speaks many impure words, such as words of distributing robes, words of 'I got food and ate it,' words of 'if giving alms.'
