This itself is not hidden because of being stingy with the Dharma. Shariputra, those who do not understand what the Tathagata has said, which is truly ultimate, will speak of a person and will accept a person. If someone hears this unsurpassed, objectless jewel of Dharma and develops faith, they should be led to their own place and ordained again. They should be given full ordination again. Why is that? Shariputra, those who have views such as these: viewing an object, viewing self, viewing sentient beings, viewing life, and viewing a person; because they have not separately abandoned these views, they are said to be other heretics. Why is that? Shariputra, the Tathagata speaks of a person based on worldly conventions, but not in the ultimate sense. Shariputra, if some say this: "We also use the term 'person' according to worldly conventions, but not in the ultimate sense," then their patience is like this: without arising, without ceasing, without birth, without characteristics, without separate knowledge, without diminution. Since it does not contradict what I have said, they are my hearers. Shariputra, if someone says this: The Tathagata speaks of a person where there is no person, certainly for the sake of worldly convention. For the time being, the Tathagata does not lie for the sake of worldly convention, and the Tathagata has spoken of the word 'person' in many sutras. For the time being, the Tathagata's truth will not become untrue. Shariputra, to that person, one should also say this: the Tathagata has said that all dharmas are without owner and without substance. The Tathagata speaks according to worldly conventions, but not in the ultimate sense as the conventions of the noble ones. Since there is no one like the Tathagata, where would there be a god, naga, or yaksha superior to him? Who is more wise, more pure, more tamed, or more

Furthermore, one who has wisdom does not exist. Shariputra, if all sentient beings do not understand the inconceivable speech of the Buddha, Shariputra, is the Tathagata to be regarded here as equal to myself and the world? Why does the great elephant say "person"? Shariputra, the world argues with me, but I do not argue with the world. Shariputra, I drive away sentient beings who cling to the view of a person. Shariputra, what the Tathagata says, that is, where there is no person and no thing, if many sentient beings do not understand this, they will not enter this Dharma and Vinaya, and will fall into evil destinies. What is the reason for this? Shariputra, even if I speak the words of other heretics, the Tathagata is not another heretic. Shariputra, even if I vow to speak of annihilation, the Tathagata is not one who inclines to the wrong path. Shariputra, even if I vow that everything is without cause, the Tathagata does not speak of no cause. Shariputra, even if I vow the word of no agent, the Tathagata does not speak of no agent. Shariputra, even if I vow to have wrong views, the Tathagata is not a wrong view. Shariputra, to fully understand that wrong view is wrong view, that is the correct view. Shariputra, wrong view will never become right view, and seeing view with view is never understanding or seeing. Shariputra, this is the most difficult place for all the world to believe, namely, the Bodhi of the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha. Shariputra, I should not be disbelieved. Shariputra, I should not be disbelieved by the world with gods because I have power, Shariputra, the Dharma of going to the other shore taught by the Tathagata, there is actually no Dharma taught at all. Shariputra, the imperishable Dharma taught by the Tathagata, there is actually no entry at all. Shariputra, the peaceful Dharma taught by the Tathagata, there is actually no
