ས་པས་བྱིན་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་པས་བྱིན་ལ་འདི་སྐད་སྨྲས་སོ། །ལྷ་མཁྱེན་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། བདག་ཅག་འདི་ནས་བྱ་རྒྱ་དང་རྙི་ཐོགས་ཏེ་རིའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གངས་རིའི་ལྷོ་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་ངོས་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་མཆིས་པ་དང་། ཕྱོགས་གང་ན་རྨ་བྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསེར་དུ་སྣང་བ་གནས་པའི་ཕྱོགས་དེར་རྙི་བཙུགས། རྒྱ་བྲེས་ན། རྨ་བྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསེར་དུ་སྣང་བ་གང་དང་གང་དུ་ལྟ་བ་དེ་དང་དེར་རྒྱ་རལ་རྙི་ཆད་དེ། བདག་ཅག་ཕྱོགས་དེ་ན་དགུང་བདུན་གྱི་བར་དུ་ཤ་ཐང་ཡང་རྨ་བྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་རྒྱ་དང་རྙིས་བཟུང་བའི་རྔོ་མ་ཐོགས་པ་དང་། རྨ་བྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེས་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཉེ་བར་བཞག་སྟེ་བདག་ཅག་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་མཆིའོ། །ཀྱེ་མི་དག་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཕྱོགས་འདི་ན་ཤ་ཐང་ཞིང་འཁོད། བདག་ཅག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། རྨ་བྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཤེས་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་པས་བྱིན་གྱིས་བདག་ཅག་ལ་བསྒོ་བ། རིའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གངས་རིའི་ལྷོ་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་ངོས་ལ་རྨ་བྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསེར་དུ་སྣང་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཡན་ལག་བཀྲ་བ། ལུས་བཀྲ་བ། རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་མཆུ་ཅན་འཁོར་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དེ་གང་དང་གང་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་རྨ་བྱ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་དང་པོ་ལ་འགྲོ་བ་ཞིག་གནས་ཞེས་གྲག་གིས། ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་བྱ་རྒྱ་དང་རྙིས་རྨ་བྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསེར་དུ་སྣང་བ་ཟུང་ལ་འོན་ཅིག །གལ་ཏེ་རྨ་བྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་འདིར་བླང་ནུས་ན་དེ་ལྟ་ན་ནི་ལེགས་སོ། །ཇི་སྟེ་མ་ནུས་ན་ཁྱེད་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་སྲོག་ཡལ་ལོ་ཞེས་བསྒོ་སྟེ། བདག་ཅག་སྲོག་གིས་འཇིགས་སྐྲག །འཆི་བས་འཇིགས་སྐྲག་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕྱིར་འདི་ལྟར་འབད་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་ཞོ་ཤས་འཚོ་བ་དག་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་བྱ་རྒྱ་དང་རྙིས་བཟུང་བར་ནི་མི་ནུས་སོ། །ཞོ་ཤས་འཚོ་བ་དག་གལ་ཏེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་པས་བྱིན་ང་མཐོང་བར་འདོད་ན་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་བཱ་རཱ་ཎ་སཱིའི་ནང་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཕྱག་དར་བྱོས་ཏེ། སྤོས་ཆུས་ཆག་ཆག་ཐོབ་ལ་མེ་ཏོག་སིལ་མ་ཁྲོམ་སྟེ། གདུགས་དང་བ་དན་བྲེས་ཤིག །རྒྱལ་མཚན་སྒྲེང་ལ། པོག་ཕོར་ནས་བདུག་པས་བདུགས་ལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བདུན་གྱི་ཤིང་རྟ་གྱིས་ཏེ། ཞག་བདུན་གྱི་ཉིན་པར་དཔུང་གི་ཚོགས་ཡན་ལག་བཞི་པ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ཏུ་འདིར་ཤོག་ཤིག་དང་། ང་ཉིད་དེར་འགྲོ་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་མཆིའོ། །དེ་ལྟར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ཏེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་པས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རྔོན་པ་དང་བྱ་པ་དེ་དག་གི་ལྟར་མཉན་ནས། གྲོང་ཁྱེར་བཱ་རཱ་ཎ་སཱིའི་ནང་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཕྱག་དར་བྱེད་དུ་བཅུག །སྤོས་ཆུས་ཆག་ཆག་འདེབས་སུ་བཅུག །མེ་ཏོག་སིལ

使者去了那里，去后对梵天所赐国王这样说道：神啊，请您知晓。我们从这里带着鸟网和陷阱，到达了山王雪山的南面，在孔雀王显现为金色的地方设置了陷阱。张开网后，无论孔雀王显现为金色看向何处，网都会破裂，陷阱也会断裂。我们七天都在那个地方徒劳无功，未能用网和陷阱抓住那只孔雀王。那孔雀王心怀慈悲，对我们这样说道：你们这些人为何在此处徒劳无功地徘徊？我们说道：孔雀王啊，请知晓！梵天所赐国王告诫我们：在山王雪山的南面，有一只名为孔雀王显现为金色的鸟，它肢体美丽，身体光彩夺目，拥有珍宝般的喙，带着五百眷属，无论它去往何处，总是走在所有孔雀的最前面。你们要用鸟网和陷阱抓住孔雀王显现为金色。如果能将那孔雀王带到这里，那就太好了。如果不能，你们所有人的性命都将不保。我们因害怕失去性命，害怕死亡，所以才为您如此努力。它说道：你们这些以糠秕为生的人，无法用鸟网和陷阱抓住我。以糠秕为生的人啊，如果梵天所赐国王想要见到我，就在瓦拉纳西城中彻底打扫干净，用香水洒遍，撒满鲜花，悬挂伞盖和旗帜，竖起王旗，用香炉熏香，制作七宝马车，七天后的白天，带着四种军队来到这里，我自会前去。就这样，梵天所赐国王听了猎人和捕鸟人的话，便让人彻底打扫瓦拉纳西城，让人洒上香水，撒上鲜花。

The messenger went there, and after arriving, spoke to King Brahma-given as follows: "O God, please be aware. We have come from here with bird nets and traps to the southern side of the King of Mountains, the Snow Mountain, and we have set traps in the direction where the Peacock King appears as gold. When the net is spread, wherever the Peacock King appears as gold looks, the net breaks and the trap is cut. We have been in that place for seven days in vain, unable to catch the Peacock King with nets and traps. That Peacock King, with compassion, said to us: 'O people, why are you wandering around here in vain?' We said: 'O Peacock King, please know! ' King Brahma-given instructed us: 'On the southern side of the King of Mountains, the Snow Mountain, there is a bird called the Peacock King appearing as gold, whose limbs are beautiful, whose body is radiant, who has a jewel-like beak, and who has five hundred attendants. Wherever it goes, it always goes in front of all the peacocks. You must catch the Peacock King appearing as gold with bird nets and traps. If you can bring that Peacock King here, that would be great. If you cannot, all of your lives will be lost.' We are terrified of losing our lives, terrified of death, so we are working so hard for you. He said: 'You who live on chaff, you cannot catch me with bird nets and traps. O you who live on chaff, if King Brahma-given wants to see me, thoroughly clean the city of Varanasi, sprinkle it with scented water, scatter flowers, hang umbrellas and banners, raise the royal flag, burn incense from incense burners, make a chariot of seven jewels, and come here on the seventh day with the four divisions of the army, and I will go there myself.'" Thus, King Brahma-given, having heard the words of the hunters and bird catchers, had the city of Varanasi thoroughly cleaned, had scented water sprinkled, and had flowers scattered.

He ordered the hanging of banners, the connecting of umbrellas and streamers, and the erection of victory banners. He ordered incense to be burned from incense burners. He ordered the construction of a seven-jeweled chariot, and after seven days had passed, he ordered the four divisions of the army to don armor. After the four divisions of the army had donned armor, they pulled the seven-jeweled chariot and, together with the four divisions of the army, went to the southern side of the king of mountains, the snowy mountain. When the golden-shining peacock king, riding on the seven-jeweled chariot, made a sound, that sound spread throughout the four divisions of the army. King Brahma-given was delighted and overjoyed, and having generated joy and comfort, he showed respect to the golden-shining peacock king. He ordered him to be revered, to be made a lama, to be served, and to be offered to. Then, together with the golden-shining peacock king, he went to the city called Varanasi. Sitting at the gate of Varanasi, he made a sound, and that sound spread throughout the entire city. Then, all the men, women, boys, and girls who lived in the city of Varanasi ran to the city gate. Then, King Brahma-given ordered the golden-shining peacock king to be revered, to be made a lama, to be served, and to be offered to. Then he went to his own house and to the incomparable queen, and said to the incomparable queen: "Goddess, the golden-shining peacock king has come to you of his own accord."
