To. O Blessed One, if I have killed my parents, I beseech the Blessed One to protect me. What should I do? Then, the Blessed One gave the word "Good" to that emanation person, and said: "Good, good! Young man, you speak the truth, you speak rightly, you speak as it was done. You have spoken truthfully before the Tathagata, and you are indeed not deceiving. Young man, understand the continuum of your mind. With which mind, past, future, or present, did you kill your parents? The past mind is exhausted and separated, ceased and transformed, it does not abide in a place, nor does it abide in a direction, therefore it cannot be designated. The future is that which has not yet come, it is unborn, unarisen, not yet truly arisen, untransformed, not transformed, without characteristics, unarisen, therefore it also cannot be designated. The present mind is without abiding, it arises and disintegrates, vanishes, has not become an aggregate, has not been accumulated. For it, there is no designation of going or coming. Young man, the mind does not enter the inner body, nor does it go to the outer realm, nor does it perceive the absence of both. Young man, the mind is not blue, not yellow, not red, not white, not tea-colored, nor the color of crystal. Young man, the mind is formless, invisible, intangible, unimpeded, like an illusion, without example, therefore it cannot be designated. Young man, the mind does not desire, does not hate, does not become deluded. Young man, the mind does not manifestly fabricate, there is no maker, no feeling, no thought, no experiencer. Young man, the mind is naturally clear, it does not become completely defiled, nor does it become completely purified. Young man, the mind is not in this life, nor in another life, nor in the absence of both, not there, nor elsewhere, like the sky, equal to the unequal, not different, it will not become discernible, therefore the wise should not cling to it, should not consider it as one's own, should not rely on it, should not abide in it, should not consider it as self.

One should not think of me, one should not think of what is mine. O noble men, all dharmas are powerless by nature, therefore they are unwavering. O noble men, I do not say that with such faith, one is completely defiled, or completely purified, or goes to a lower realm, or goes to a higher realm. Why is that? The nature of mind does not turn into complete defilement, does not turn into complete purification, nor does it go anywhere, does not come, does not stay. Then, the emanation of the noble man said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, the Tathagata's realm of Dharma is completely pure, without karma, without maturation, unborn, unestablished, manifestly enlightened, it is wonderful! Bhagavan, I wish to renounce, I request the Sugata to allow me to renounce. Monk, come! Practice pure conduct! When the Bhagavan said this to him, he immediately appeared to have renounced. Bhagavan, I have attained realization, I wish to enter Nirvana, he also said that. Thus, that monk, by the power of the Buddha, rose into the sky above, as high as a tala tree, and burned his body with his own fire element, and that man of true character heard these teachings of the Dharma. Having heard them, he thought: That man, although he has killed both his father and mother, has entered Nirvana, but I have only killed my mother, why should I not enter Nirvana? At that time, he went to the Bhagavan, bowed his head at the feet of the Bhagavan, and said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, I have also killed my mother. Then, the Bhagavan gave the word 'good' to that man, good, good! Man, you have not deceived the Tathagata, but man, with what mind did you kill your mother, understand it in the continuum of your mind, and thus extensively taught, and should act according to the behavior of the emanation man. Then, at that time, from all the pores of that man, the fire of sentient beings in hell

Having become like that. He was burned and helpless, and he prayed to the Blessed One, saying: Blessed One, I am burned, please let the Sugata be my protector. I take refuge in the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One placed his hand, like the color of gold, on the head of that man. As soon as the hand was placed, from that time on, all the feelings of that man ceased. He became relaxed and comfortable in body, and became very respectful to the Tathagata, and he prayed to the Blessed One, saying: Blessed One, I wish to go forth, please let the Sugata allow me to go forth. The Blessed One said to him: Bhikshu, come! Practice the pure conduct! When the Blessed One said this, at that time he immediately shaved his head, put on the patched robes, shaved his hair and beard, and became like he had been for seven days. After the Bhikshu took the full ordination, he remained in the conduct of having practiced for a hundred years. After the Tathagata said, "Come!", his head was shaved, and his body was clad in patched robes. Immediately his senses were completely pacified, and he remained in the demeanor of the Buddha's intention. Then, the Blessed One spoke to that Bhikshu about the Dharma that possesses the Four Noble Truths, and after he heard it, on top of the Dharma eye that was pure, without dust and free from defilement, he also meditated on the path and became an Arhat. He prayed to the Blessed One, saying: Blessed One, I wish to completely pass beyond suffering. Sugata, the time for me to completely pass beyond suffering has arrived. The Blessed One said: Bhikshu, you should know that now is the time for you to arrive at that. At that time, he was in the sky above, about seven palm trees high, and burned his body with his own fire element. When he was burned, not even ashes remained, and hundreds of thousands of gods prostrated to him. Then, the venerable Shariputra saw the taming of that man and was amazed, and he prayed to the Blessed One, saying: The Dharma and Discipline of the Tathagata is well spoken, and even those who possess the unpardonable sins can be tamed.
