Na no! The Buddha's liberation is also form. If the liberation of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is formless, then how can the nature of liberation be called emptiness? Do not hold onto undifferentiated concepts. Manjushri, just as a house built in a city is empty because it is uninhabited, a vase is empty because it is without water, and a river is empty because it has no flowing water. Do you call the space in a city where there is no house emptiness? Are all houses empty? Not all houses are empty, but they are called empty because they are uninhabited. Are all vases empty? Not all vases are empty, but they are called empty because they are without water. Are all rivers empty? Not all rivers are empty, but they are called empty because there is no flowing water. Similarly, not all liberations are empty, but they are called liberation emptiness because they are free from all faults. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, is not empty, but is called empty because he is free from all faults and there are no beings or gods with afflictions. Alas! Venerable Manjushri, you act like a bee, not understanding the true meaning of emptiness and non-emptiness. The naked ascetics also meditate on everything as empty. Naked ascetic bee, say nothing! Then, Manjushri, having become a youth, spoke again to Angulimala: Angulimala, if you kill all the Shravakas like a tiger in the wilderness, then do not despise the sons of the Tathagata. Bee, who are you? Then Angulimala spoke again to Manjushri, having become a youth: For example, like foolish wild animals, miserly people walk on the road, and just by smelling the scent of a tiger, they flee in all directions. Similarly, because the Shravakas do not understand the Mahayana, like foolish people, they flee in all directions when they smell the scent of a Bodhisattva. For example, when the lion king roars in the mountains with the power of a lion, hearing the lion's roar, all beings such as mountain deer and foxes cannot live and die. Similarly, when a Bodhisattva roars the lion's roar, completely subduing with the power of a lion, hearing the Bodhisattva's roar, the Shravakas and solitary

The entire earth is soft, and all are ignorant of speech. Even if I temporarily utter the sound "wa," all the Shravakas cannot answer, If I were to utter the sound of a lion, what would become of the Shravakas? Then, Manjushri, having become a youth, spoke these words again to Angulimala: "Who are you, like a bee? Angulimala has committed extremely cruel deeds. If even someone like you is considered a Bodhisattva, Then what would the evil demons be like?" "Alas! The beings of the world do not know themselves, They do not see their own faults, But they see the faults of others." How much evil has Angulimala committed? Then, Angulimala spoke these words to Manjushri, having become a youth: "Alas! There are two kinds of people in the world who destroy the Holy Dharma, Those who view emptiness as extreme, And those who speak of 'self' in the world, these two destroy the Holy Dharma, And deny the Holy Dharma. Alas! Venerable Manjushri does not know sin and non-sin, Alas! He also does not know the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Alas! Bodhisattvas think that they are fearless, Alas! Venerable Manjushri does not even know the difference between a bee and a lion. Venerable Manjushri, listen to the conduct of a Bodhisattva praised by the Tathagatas. For example, how a magician cuts and chops an army gathered by magic, And shows the food and drink made by magic, The magician shows many kinds of magic's excellence, Similarly, the teachings of the Buddhas are also like that, The Bodhisattvas also show many kinds of magic, such as their own birth and passing into Nirvana. In the intermediate kalpa of disease, for sentient beings who are sick and think they are without disease, (the Bodhisattva) becomes the best food. In the intermediate kalpa of fire, for sentient beings who burn the earth and always think of permanence, (the Bodhisattva) shows impermanence. In the intermediate kalpa of weapons, for the sake of sentient beings, (the Bodhisattva) thinks, 'I have shown it,' Turning everything into weapons and iron, Even if the Buddhas show each other killing, they will not harm even one sentient being.
