Like the destroyer of all, the protectorless one, how can those monks who hold alms bowls in their hands, whose clothes and so on are also changed in color and made ugly, be negligent? Constantly afflicted by cold and heat, hunger and thirst, like mountain deer, constantly with hands and feet covered in dust, but without even the slightest stain of transgressing the precepts, those who guard the precepts like a crow's egg, what can clamor and fondness for speech do? Like a dwarf bull whose tusks have been cut off, what can wearing priceless clothes do for those who are frightening and ugly in appearance? Do not say such things twice! Indra, you are an outsider to the teachings, just as the oath of a Brahmin in the heretics does not include outcastes, so too, you are an outcaste of the outsiders, bee, do not speak! Then, the lord Brahma of the Sahā world emitted great light, and where the Blessed One was, he bowed with folded palms, and made great divine offerings to the Tathāgata and Aṅgulimāla, and then spoke these words to the Blessed One and Aṅgulimāla: Alas! I have seen a great battle, like two lions fiercely fighting. Alas! The Buddha subdued the untamable, the Tathāgata skillfully subdued Aṅgulimāla. Just as a snake, upon seeing a doctor, makes a great sound, and quickly calms the one who emits fearless breath. Likewise, upon seeing the doctor of the three realms, Aṅgulimāla's fierce actions became very gentle. I prostrate to you, the doctor of the three realms! I prostrate to you, the supreme mighty king! Tathāgata, possessor of the body of skillful means, I prostrate to you, holder of inconceivable power! Placing Aṅgulimāla in the nature of Dharma, today, god, you are exceedingly beautiful. So exceedingly beautiful, unparalleled. Therefore, the Tathāgata is unparalleled. Aṅgulimāla's discipline now abides, exceedingly beautiful. Tamed and virtuous, without fear, and his form is naturally like gold, beautiful like the burning gold in the Jambū River. Tathāgata, I beseech you, because you are compassionate to me, may the Tathāgata accept my illusionary robe today, Aṅgulimāla.

I pray for the gift of the Dharma robes of the gods. Through the fruit of this, may I also attain supreme enlightenment. Sorpheng (Sor phreng, referring to the one who holds the garland) Dharma robe, I have divided your clothes. May the practice of Brahma be steadfast and complete. O Bhagavan, Sor Mo'i Phreng Ba (Sor mo'i phreng ba, referring to Angulimala) also, please protect the perfection of Brahma conduct. Then, Angulimala said again to the lord of the Brahma Sahaloka: Who are you, a gossipy and chattering person? Angulimala has divided my clothes, Angulimala guards the precepts and asceticism. Angulimala guards the precepts for a long time, you say to me with contempt. Evil Brahma, you are not Brahma, but you come here in the form of Brahma, then what is the meaning of Brahma being called Brahma? What is the work of Brahma in the world? I take the clothes and divide them like a bee, do I have to guard the precepts and asceticism for a long time? I am not a slave to anyone, nor do I accept anyone's faith. I don't owe anyone anything, I used to give wealth to poor beings. For example, in spring, a monkey is tied with a rope, and even after a long time, it will quickly return to its place. Similarly, Brahma bee, you will also be like a monkey tied with a rope in spring, after enjoying the happiness of the Brahma world, you are destined to fall. Those who do not understand the true meaning of the virtues of the Bodhisattva, like you, who distinguish between sin and non-sin, if they exist in the world, then those who are not intelligent and do not possess (wisdom) will wander around in the suffering of samsara. Alas, Brahma, if you can definitely know sin and non-sin, then say that Angulimala has done cruel things! Evil Brahma, you don't know like a bee, go and learn the behavior of the Bodhisattva! Then, the lord of the Brahma Sahaloka said again to Angulimala: Angulimala killed two thousand people, one short, and did heinous things, which are still vivid in my mind. Your cruel deeds cannot be done even by crows and eagles. If this is not a cruel deed, then what is a cruel deed? If this
