Everything happens. Manjushri, for example, relying on the earth, dwelling on the earth, all seeds, grasses, trees, vines, herbs, and forests grow, flourish, and become vast. The earth does not think, although it does not think, yet because it possesses the unmixed Dharma, such things as not thinking and spontaneously accomplishing also happen. Manjushri, similarly, relying on the Tathagata, dwelling on the Tathagata, all the abodes of the heretics, such as the practitioners of the ten directions, the wanderers, the naked ones, and all the mundane and supramundane roots of virtue of all sentient beings grow, flourish, and become vast.
