Equal great compassion for all beings, equal great compassion for beings whose minds are extremely joyful, these are the four essential points of the Dharma for beings. The Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha does not appear, nor does he not appear. From where one enters the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, until when one manifests the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment and becomes a Buddha, the mind of enlightenment will not be destroyed, these are the five essential points of the Dharma for beings. Gathering all the roots of virtue, guiding them to be dedicated to the all-knowing wisdom, and not using them for the sake of the world, these are the six essential points of the Dharma for beings. First, with the mind, follow the conduct of enlightenment of all Buddhas, learn the actions of body, speech, and mind, dedicate them to the all-knowing wisdom, and not being the conduct of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, thereby manifesting the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha, these are the seven essential points of the Dharma for beings. Infinitely illuminating all lights everywhere, manifesting all the Buddha's teachings, and the Bodhisattva's mind being pure, this manifests all equality, equally perfecting all-knowing wisdom, these are the eight essential points of the Dharma for beings. Abandoning all worldly happiness, not desiring worldly pleasures, with the aspiration of not being defiled by all the world, equally possessing all worldly happiness, thereby all suffering is pacified, and all elaborations are ceased, these are the nine essential points of the Dharma for beings. With faith in the Buddha-field, generating the mind of hardship and asceticism. Diligently protecting the lineage of all Buddhas, equally with all sentient beings, knowing all suffering with wisdom, and attaining the ultimate between the ten powers and the ten bhumis, this is the tenth essential point of the Dharma for beings. O sons of the Victorious Ones, these are the ten essential points of the Dharma for beings of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. O sons of the Victorious Ones, these are the ten non-attachment practices of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat.
