Having emanated hundreds of thousands of living beings, those living beings also eat the fruits of that tree. Whatever is like the fruit, the profound things are also the same as it. Similarly, the giving of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is just like the door of the gathering of dharmas. Whatever is like that, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva gives, value and gain, gain and value are equal. Whatever is like this, for example: A magician or a clever student of a magician, at a major crossroads on the road, in front of many ordinary people, manifests a woman. That woman also manifests as being pregnant and shows that she has given birth to a child. That woman gave birth to a child, gave birth to a boy, and that boy also showed that he died. Whatever, what do you think? When that boy dies, will that woman have the thought, "My son has died"? Replied: World Honored One, no. The World Honored One said: Whatever is like that, how is the mother, the son is also the same as her. Similarly, how is the giving of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, omniscience is also the same as it. Whatever is like that, here there are also no doors of gathering of those dharmas. Whatever, what do you think? Do you see that I have great attachment to some dharmas? Replied: World Honored One, no. What is the reason for that? World Honored One, the Tathagata is for the sake of realizing complete enlightenment of the emptiness of those dharmas. The World Honored One said: Whatever is like that, just as the Tathagata does not have great attachment to any dharma, similarly when I became a Bodhisattva, there is no dharma that was not completely given away. Therefore, the Buddhas, World Honored Ones, do not generate attachment or hatred. What is the reason for that? Like this, the Buddhas, World Honored Ones, are those who have abandoned attachment and hatred. Gangpo replied: World Honored One, whatever things a Bodhisattva Mahasattva gives away, is that thing emptiness? Or Yama-vara?

When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva gives completely, he should also generate such a thought: I will completely give all my possessions. The Blessed One said to the venerable Sharadvatiputra: For the sake of explaining this teaching, please speak boldly! When the time for me to speak comes, I will also speak. Then, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said to the venerable Maitreya's son, Gangpo: Venerable Gangpo, here, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who desires to attain complete and perfect enlightenment should contemplate all dharmas as emptiness and give alms. By the power of the Buddha, the venerable Sharadvatiputra, and the other great Shravakas, and the retinue complete with all, from here directly towards the world called Illusion, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, named Great Aggregate, is teaching the Dharma to the Shravakas. There, a Bodhisattva named Unobstructed lives at home, and while living at home, he gives and completely bestows charity of heaps of wealth and gold as large as mountains, and proclaims: May those beings who take from here receive charity! He gives heaps of clothes as large as mountains. He gives heaps of food and drink as large as mountains, and proclaims: May those beings who take from there receive charity! Furthermore, the Bhagavan said to the venerable Sharadvatiputra: The Bodhisattva Unobstructed has spread out hundreds of thousands of chariots of the seven precious things, and on each chariot he has placed women adorned with a thousand different colors, and he gives them away in the market streets, saying these words: Whoever wants these chariots and these women, take them!
