The monastic community of monks gathered and made a vow that none of us should go to the village. You are acting without awareness, not speaking little. What can you do by going to the village? Staying in the monastery is permitted and praised by the Blessed One. Do not go to the village, but conduct yourself with the bliss of meditation, thus he admonished. They did not listen to what was said, and went to the villages again. Son of good family, from then on, when those monks returned from the village, the wisdom of the monk's conduct again struck the ghanta, gathered the monastic community of monks, and said: If you go to the village from now on, do not stay in this monastery, thus he admonished. Son of good family, from then on, the monk who spoke the Dharma, whose conduct was pure, in order to protect the mind of that monk,

Due to maturation, one falls into the great hell of Avīci. For ninety-nine trillion kalpas, he experiences the feeling of suffering in the great hell of beings, and in sixty lifetimes he obtains unpleasant speech. In thirty-two thousand lifetimes, he falls back from ordination. Due to the residue of that karmic obscuration, he goes forth to the Sugata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha, radiant, immaculate scriptures. Having gone forth, even if he practices for one hundred and sixty billion years as if his head were on fire, he does not obtain even a corresponding patience, and in many hundreds of thousands of lifetimes he becomes dull-witted. Son of good family, at that time, at that moment, if you think that the bhikṣu called Dharma-speaker, whose conduct is completely pure, is someone else, do not view it that way. Why is that? Because the Tathāgata, the Immovable One, at that time, at that moment, became the bhikṣu called Dharma-speaker, whose conduct is completely pure. Son of good family, at that time, at that moment, if you think that the wisdom of the bhikṣu called Dharma-speaker's conduct is someone else, do not view it that way. Why is that? Because I became the wisdom of the bhikṣu called Dharma-speaker's conduct. I also, with such subtle means, aroused a mind of distrust towards him, and thus manifested karmic obscurations, and therefore fell into the hells of beings. Son of good family, so subtle is karmic obscuration. Son of good family, those who do not want such karmic obscurations should not be angry at the conduct of others. One should have faith in all of his conduct. One should generate the thought: 'I do not know the minds of others; the conduct of beings is difficult to know.' Having seen the power of meaning, the Tathāgata teaches the Dharma thus: One person should not measure another person. If one person measures another person, wounds will arise. I or others like me will measure people. Son of good family, whoever wishes to protect himself should not examine the conduct of anyone else, saying to them, 'This is this.'

Similar! Do not comment saying "This is just like this." Day and night, one should strive in the Dharma of the Buddha. Son of good family, a Bodhisattva who, with a mind cultivated in the Dharma, truly enters from the depths of his heart, does not dwell on striving to criticize others. Son of good family, if in the realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system, all the sentient beings that exist, however many there may be, were all placed on the path of the ten virtuous actions by some Bodhisattva, it is better than a single Bodhisattva dwelling alone in solitude, even for the time it takes to snap one's fingers, believing that all dharmas are of one taste. Even abiding for the sake of a tiny question, examination, acceptance of teachings, or recitation, this is far more meritorious than the former. Why is that? Son of good family, because by understanding this principle, Bodhisattvas obtain the complete purification of all karmic obscurations. They will become free from attachment and anger towards all sentient beings. They will also quickly attain complete omniscience. Then, Mañjuśrī, transformed into a youth, said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, to what extent does the so-called "complete purification of karmic obscurations" lead to the complete purification of karmic obscurations? The Blessed One replied: Mañjuśrī, any Bodhisattva who knows that all dharmas are without karma and without maturation obtains the complete purification of karmic obscurations. Mañjuśrī, furthermore, any Bodhisattva who sees the limit of desire as the true limit, who sees the limit of hatred as the true limit, and who sees the limit of ignorance as the true limit, obtains the complete purification of karmic obscurations. Mañjuśrī, furthermore, any Bodhisattva who sees all sentient beings and all dharmas as the essence of nirvāṇa obtains the complete purification of karmic obscurations. Mañjuśrī, why is that? Because if there is a view, karma will become manifest. Mañjuśrī, ignorant, unlearned ordinary people do not understand that all dharmas are utterly and completely extinguished, therefore they fixate on self and other. Having fixated, they manifest the three types of actions of body, speech, and mind. Because of imputing in an incorrect way,
