Pa. Manjushri, all dharmas are accomplished by wisdom and are devoid of ignorance. For example, Manjushri, the sky is neither endowed with knowledge nor endowed with ignorance. Manjushri, likewise, all dharmas are neither endowed with knowledge nor endowed with ignorance. Because the nature of what is to be known is extremely peaceful, it is neither knowledge nor ignorance, therefore it is called the word of wisdom. Manjushri, what is called form is the word of a stake. Question: Blessed One, why is it called the word of a stake? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, for example, the stake of Indra is unmoving and unshakable because it is well established. Manjushri, likewise, all dharmas abide in the realm of dharma in a non-abiding manner, without going or coming, not to be taken, without effort, and extremely stable, therefore they do not abide, therefore it is the word of a stake. Manjushri, what is called feeling is the word of peace. Question: Blessed One, why is it called the word of peace? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are extremely peaceful by nature, feeling is neither within, nor without, nor in the east, nor in the south, nor in the west, nor in the north, nor above, nor below, nor in any direction. Manjushri, if the feeling of pleasure were within, then all sentient beings would be extremely happy with pleasure. Manjushri, or, if the feeling of suffering were within, then all sentient beings would be extremely painful with suffering. Manjushri, if the feeling that is neither pleasure nor suffering were within, then all sentient beings would become extremely deluded. Manjushri, therefore, all feelings are neither within, nor without, nor in the east, nor in the south, nor in the west, nor in the north, nor above, nor below, nor in any direction, therefore all sentient beings are like grass and trees and walls, their nature is unborn and unceasing, their essence is equal, therefore

E is the word of peace. Manjushri, perception (འདུ་ཤེས་, saṃjñā, saṃjñā, perception) is called the word of seed. Question: Blessed One, why is it called the word of seed? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, that perception arises from complete investigation, arises from wrong views, like annihilation and emptiness, like the nature of a mirage is naturally empty. Therefore, it is the word of seed. Manjushri, formation (འདུ་བྱེད་, saṃskāra, saṃskāra, formation) is called the word of seed. Question: Blessed One, why is it called the word of seed? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are countless and possess equality of counting, like the heartwood of a banana tree. Manjushri, for example, the heartwood of a banana tree is completely non-existent and invisible because it is not born by nature. Manjushri, similarly, all dharmas are naturally empty and nameless. Therefore, it is the word of seed. Manjushri, consciousness (རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པ་, vijñāna, vijñāna, consciousness) is called the word of seed. Question: Blessed One, why is it called the word of seed? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, consciousness is like an illusion, unborn, unarisen, empty, without characteristics, without essence, without attributes, nameless like space and five fingers. Therefore, it is the word of seed. Manjushri, form (གཟུགས་, rūpa, rūpa, form) is called the word of seed. Question: Blessed One, why is it called the word of seed? The Blessed One said: For example, a cataract is not present in appearance. Manjushri, similarly, all dharmas are not present in appearance, but are eye-deceiving, mind-deceiving, deceiving, false, of the nature of illusion. Therefore, it is the word of seed. Manjushri, sound (སྒྲ་, śabda, śabda, sound) is called the word of seed. Question: Blessed One, why is it called the word of seed? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are indivisible and non-dual, like the path of words of mountain echo is similar to a rock. Therefore, it is the word of seed. Manjushri, smell (དྲི་, gandha, gandha, smell) is called the word of seed. Question: Blessed One, why

Then, this is called the seed word. The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are unsmellable because scent and smell and consciousness are unobservable, and are naturally foolish, like the sky. Therefore, this is the seed word. Manjushri, what is called taste, this is the seed word. Asked: Blessed One, why is it called the seed word? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are inconceivable because of their emptiness of nature and essence, and because the realm of taste is unobservable, taste is unobservable. Therefore, this is the seed word. Manjushri, what is called touch, this is the seed word. Asked: Blessed One, why is it called the seed word? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are without touch because they are empty like the sky, and the body is extremely meditative, and the object of touch does not arise, and touch is empty. Therefore, this is the seed word. Manjushri, what is called earth, this is the seed word. Asked: Blessed One, why is it called the seed word? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are without mind, without mind, without essence, unestablished, without name, empty of characteristics, the nature of the realm of dharma. Therefore, this is the seed word. Manjushri, what is called water, this is the seed word. Asked: Blessed One, why is it called the seed word? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are without water, unmixed and without moisture, like the water of a mirage. Therefore, this is the seed word. Manjushri, what is called fire, this is the seed word. Asked: Blessed One, why is it called the seed word? The Blessed One said: Manjushri, all dharmas are without heat, completely free from suffering, non-existent by nature, peaceful in essence, and the completely unarisen perverted discriminations. Therefore, this is the seed word. Manjushri, what is called wind, this is the seed word. Asked: Blessed One, why is it called the see
