Bodhi. Bodhisattva Mahasattvas practice the truths in a way that is not to be meditated upon. In the conventional truth, they do not abandon the truths of samsara and nirvana. In order to separately examine the wisdom of the Buddha in the conventional truth, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas also practice the truths in a way that is not to be meditated upon. Son of the gods, for example, just as many criminals are imprisoned, and one person escapes, emerging from among the many criminals, and enters a wilderness monastery. He is fearful and afraid in his heart, and without turning back, he transcends the wilderness monastery. Son of the gods, similarly, the Shravakas, fearing and dreading samsara, escape from samsara. They do not return to this world, and alone, without a second, they meditate on the truths. Because they lack the wisdom of skillful means, they do not regard all sentient beings, even up to the omniscient wisdom. Son of the gods, for example, just as a caravan leader has many servants, possesses all provisions for the journey, and thinks of setting out to gather great wealth, so he gathers many people. Without fear or dread, they transcend that wilderness monastery. Son of the gods, similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is also like a great caravan leader in the conventional truth, nourishing all sentient beings closely with worldly conduct. Possessing many servants, endowed with the practice of great compassion. Possessing the provisions of all roots of virtue for the journey. Completely grasping with the six paramitas and the four objects of attraction, and also possessing the great benefit of perfectly gathering unsurpassed merit and wisdom. They also work for the benefit of all realms of sentient beings, going from Buddha-field to Buddha-field, closely nourishing all sentient beings, and skillfully practicing the truths with skillful means. Son of the gods, for example, just as if Shana cloth is perfumed with Champaka flowers and Barshika flowers, its fragrance will quickly dissipate. Son of the gods, similarly, meditating on the truth of the Shravakas is regarded as short-lived. They quickly enter nirvana and no longer emit the fragrance of the Buddha's discipline, learning, samadhi, wisdom, and knowledge. They are also unable to abandon the afflictions that connect habitual patterns. O gods

Son of the gods, it is like this: for example, if a precious garment from the land of Kashmir is soaked in the fragrances of gods and humans, and the scent of flowers, for a hundred thousand great eons, that divine fragrance will always emanate, and the pure fragrance will overpower gods and humans. Son of the gods, similarly, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who cultivates the truth in a non-cultivating manner for countless hundreds of thousands of eons, will not completely pass into nirvana in the intermediate state until they have obtained the supreme of all aspects and the omniscient wisdom. It is like this: the fragrance of the supreme of all aspects and the omniscient wisdom becomes extremely fragrant in an invisible manner. In worldly terms, they also abandon all the imprints of afflictions, and the worlds including gods, humans, and asuras will also gather. Then, the son of the gods, who is extremely peaceful and completely tamed, with mastery, said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, what is the Sangha of the Hearers of the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Ratnakuta like? Manjushri said: In terms of ultimate truth, it is not following faith, nor is it following the faith of others. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not following lineage, and in terms of ultimate truth, it does not abandon the lineage of the Tathagata. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not following Dharma, and in terms of ultimate truth, no Dharma is perceived. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not the eighth fruit, but in conventional truth, it is also separated from the eight wrong dharmas. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not a stream-enterer, but in the truth of worldly terms, it has also transcended all the bad destinies. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not a once-returner, but in conventional truth, it also comes for the sake of fully maturing sentient beings. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not a non-returner, but in conventional truth, there is no coming from all dharmas. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not an Arhat, but in worldly terms, it is also the supreme object of offering for the world including the gods. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not a Hearer, but in an invisible manner, all
