Endowed with greatness, accompanied by ten thousand Bodhisattvas, they went to this Saha world, concealing their bodies, and for the sake of offering to the Tathagata, manifested and rained down such a great rain of flowers. Those retinues said: "World Honored One, we wish to see that Manjushri Kumara and those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas." Then, Manjushri Kumara, together with ten thousand Bodhisattvas, descended from the sky, bowed their heads at the feet of the World Honored One, and those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas and Manjushri Kumara each sat on seats manifested by their own miraculous powers. Then, the son of the gods, the supremely peaceful, perfectly subdued, and powerful one, folded his palms and bowed respectfully towards the World Honored One, and said to the World Honored One: "World Honored One, may these retinues listen, may the World Honored One speak a small portion of the Sutra of Agreement to Manjushri Kumara." The World Honored One said: "Son of the gods, ask whatever you wish." The son of the gods said: "Manjushri, in the Buddha-field of the World Honored One Tathagata Ratnaketu, how does the Dharma teaching arise with joy?" Manjushri said: "Son of the gods, in terms of ultimate truth, it is not for generating attachment, nor for eliminating attachment. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not for generating hatred, nor for eliminating hatred. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not for generating delusion, nor for eliminating delusion. In terms of ultimate truth, it is not for generating wisdom, nor for eliminating wisdom." The son of the gods said: "Manjushri, why?" Manjushri said: "Son of the gods, in the unborn, there is neither birth nor cessation. Son of the gods, in terms of ultimate truth, there is no arising, no birth, and no future birth of discriminations in Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas. Why is that? In terms of ultimate truth, all dharmas are unproduced by nature." The son of the gods said: "Manjushri, for the sake of abandoning what does the Tathagata teach the Dharma?"

Then, Manjushri said: Ultimately, because of the nature of not being born and not ceasing, the Tathagata teaches the Dharma. Why is that? Because Bodhisattva Mahasattvas are focused on the ultimate truth, but not on the conventional truth. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, what is the ultimate truth? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, if, ultimately, the ultimate truth becomes the nature of the objects of body, speech, and mind, then it cannot be counted as the ultimate truth, but becomes the conventional truth. However, son of the gods, ultimately, the ultimate truth is that which is completely beyond all terms, without distinction, unborn, unceasing, and separated from what is to be said, saying, what is to be known, and knowing. Son of the gods, the ultimate truth is completely beyond the realm of all supreme forms and the wisdom of omniscience. Son of the gods, for it, all concepts and discriminations do not enter, nor do they cease. Ultimately, for it, there is neither the other shore, nor this shore, nor the middle. Son of the gods, this is only nominally called the ultimate truth, but it is not as the ultimate truth is. Son of the gods, the meaning is ultimately unborn, and for it, all terms do not apply. Ultimately, for what do all terms not apply, that is, son of the gods, the ultimate truth, but it is not as the ultimate truth is said to be. Son of the gods, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, has also taught that, ultimately, all dharmas and all sounds are false, they are deceptive dharmas. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, how can the Dharma spoken by the Tathagata not become false? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, the Tathagata, ultimately, neither speaks of it as false, nor speaks of it as true. Why is that? Son of the gods, ultimately, the Tathagata is unborn, so ultimately, he does not speak of it as true or false. Son of the gods, what do you think? The emanation of the Tathagata

Is what is said true or false? The son of the gods said: Manjushri, what the emanation of the Tathagata says is neither true nor false. Why is that? Manjushri, in the ultimate sense, there is nothing that the Tathagata has emanated that is truly and completely accomplished. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, that is so. The Tathagata knows that in the ultimate sense, all dharmas are not completely accomplished. Whatever is not completely accomplished in the ultimate sense, in the ultimate sense, cannot be called true or false. Why is that? In the ultimate sense, all dharmas are unborn. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, does the Tathagata teach the truth of the ultimate sense? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, the truth of the ultimate sense cannot be taught. Why is that? Because whoever teaches, with what they teach, what they teach, to whom they teach, and why they teach, all those dharmas, in the ultimate sense, are completely unborn. Unborn dharmas cannot explain unborn dharmas. When Manjushri, become young, taught the truth of the ultimate sense in a way that does not teach, five hundred monks, without taking, their minds were completely liberated from the outflows. Countless Bodhisattvas, great beings, generated tolerance for unborn dharmas in a way that unborn tolerance was born. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, it is difficult to have faith in the truth of the ultimate sense. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, it is difficult for all those with objects to have faith in the truth of the ultimate sense. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, it is difficult to comprehend the truth of the ultimate sense. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, it is difficult for those who do not strive to comprehend the truth of the ultimate sense. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, how is a monk diligent? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, in the ultimate sense, if one does not strive for the sake of completely knowing, abandoning, meditating, and realizing, then, son of the gods, in that way, a monk is diligent in a way that is not diligent. Why is that? Because if one thinks, in the ultimate sense, this should be completely known, this should be abandoned, this should be meditated upon.
