If not, it will not be used in various ways. If they are not actually used in various ways, then in reality, in the manner of going into complete non-existence, in reality, all dharmas will be understood as being equal to the characteristic of being completely unborn. The son of the gods said: By what means does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses afflictions have enlightenment, but not one who is without afflictions? Is there such a means? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, there is. Why is that? Son of the gods, all dharmas arise in conventional truth, and also do not arise. The enlightenment of Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas also arises in conventional truth. Why is that? Son of the gods, in reality, all dharmas are without afflictions, and do not arise or cease. If any dharma does not arise or cease in reality, then in reality, no one attains complete perfect enlightenment. One will not attain complete perfect enlightenment. One will not attain complete perfect enlightenment. Why is that? Son of the gods, in reality, all dharmas are completely unborn. Son of the gods, by such means, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses afflictions attains enlightenment, but not one who is without afflictions. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, by what means does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva

In order to fully ripen all sentient beings, the discipline of not harming sentient beings is, from the perspective of conventional truth, the perfection of discipline of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, by abandoning what does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva become one who possesses patience? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, there is. Son of the gods, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who, in ultimate truth, does not tolerate substance, things, and self-nature in all dharmas, becomes endowed with unsurpassed patience through the manner of not speaking. Son of the gods, that is the supreme patience of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva through the manner of non-objectification. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, what is the aspect by which a lazy Bodhisattva Mahasattva becomes endowed with diligence? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, there is. Son of the gods, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who has become lazy is not endowed with diligence by the diligence aimed at by inferior Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and heretics. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, what is the aspect by which a forgetful Bodhisattva Mahasattva becomes one who is in equipoise? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, there is. Son of the gods, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who does not generate a mind of substance, self-nature, and things in ultimate truth even in dreams, becomes extremely equipoised through the manner of non-objectification. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, what is the aspect by which a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who lacks wisdom becomes one of great wisdom? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, there is. Why is that? Son of the gods, in ultimate truth, all dharmas are analyzed by wisdom, and when searched for, they are completely unattainable and non-objective. Since wisdom is also completely unattainable and non-objective in ultimate truth, it is called wise in conventional truth, but wisdom is also completely unborn in ultimate truth. Son of the gods, by that aspect, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who lacks wisdom is called one who possesses great wisdom, called one who is particularly excellent in wisdom, called one who possesses supreme wisdom, called one who has vast wisdom.
