One does not do. One does not do without characteristics. If one enters into the same characteristic in the characteristic and the dissimilar characteristic, that is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Star King said: Good and non-good are two. If one does not seek good and non-good, and imagines non-duality in the characteristic and the non-characteristic, that is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Lion said: With fault and without fault are two. If one does not bind or release with the wisdom that pierces deeply like a vajra, that is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Lion Wisdom said: This is with outflows, this is without outflows, these are two. If one obtains the Dharma of equality, one does not make the perception of with outflows and without outflows, nor does one become without perception. There is also no obtaining equality in equality, and there is no knot of perception. Whoever enters in this way, that is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Delightful Giving said: This is happiness, this is unhappiness, these are two. If, because of the utterly pure wisdom, one is separated from all numbers and the mind is like the sky and is not attached, that is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Without Attachment said: This is worldly, this is beyond worldly, these are two. If the nature of the world is empty, then there is not even a little that can be surpassed, there is also no entering, there is also no going, and there is also no not going. In what is there no surpassing? No entering? No going? And no not going? That is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Subdued Wisdom said: Samsara and Nirvana are two. Seeing the nature of samsara, one does not revolve and does not completely pass into Nirvana. If one understands in this way, that is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Manifest Vision said: Exhaustion and non-exhaustion are two. Exhaustion is utter exhaustion. If one is utterly exhausted, then it is not to be exhausted, therefore it is called non-exhaustion. If one is non-exhausted, that is momentary, in the momentary

is inexhaustible. One who enters in such a way is said to have entered the door of non-duality. The Bodhisattva Kunsang Nyima said: "Self and no-self"—these are two. Whatever is not perceived as a self, what will become no-self? Seeing the very nature of those things, non-duality is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Electric God said: "Knowledge and ignorance"—these are two. Just like the nature of ignorance, so is knowledge. Whatever is ignorance is unspeakable, uncountable, beyond the path of counting. Whoever realizes this is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Tongdak said: "Form itself is emptiness. It is not emptiness by destroying form, but the nature of form is emptiness. Likewise, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are emptiness"—these are two. Consciousness itself is emptiness. It is not emptiness by destroying consciousness, but the nature of consciousness is emptiness. Whoever thus knows the five aggregates of grasping, and knows them with such wisdom, is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Light Crown said: "The four elements are different, and the space element is also different"—these are two. The four elements are the nature of space. The past extreme is also the nature of space. The future extreme is also the nature of space. Likewise, the present is also the nature of space. Whoever thus enters the elements with wisdom is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Rabkyi Lodrö said: "Eye and form"—these are two. Whoever fully knows the eye and is not attached to form, not hateful, not deluded, is called peaceful. Likewise, ear and sound, nose and smell, tongue and taste, body and touch, mind and phenomena—these are two. Whoever fully knows the mind and is not attached to phenomena, not hateful, not deluded, is called peaceful. Thus, abiding in peace is entering into non-duality. The Bodhisattva Lodrö Mizepa said: "Giving completely

Dedication is twofold. The nature of giving is omniscience. The nature of omniscience is dedication. Similarly, ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom, dedicating everything to omniscience, that is twofold. Omniscience is the nature of wisdom. Dedication is also the nature of omniscience. Whoever enters this single dharma, enters non-duality. The Bodhisattva Wise Eloquence said: Emptiness and otherness without characteristics, and wishlessness are also other, that is twofold. Whatever is emptiness, there is no characteristic in it. Without characteristics, there is no wish. Without wish, there is no movement of mind, intellect, and consciousness. Whoever observes one door of liberation, should observe all doors of liberation, that is entering the door of non-duality. The Bodhisattva Peaceful Freedom said: Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, that is twofold. The nature of Buddha is Dharma. The nature of Dharma is Sangha. All of these are unconditioned. The unconditioned is space. The nature of all dharmas is the same as space. Whoever follows accordingly, that is entering non-duality. The Bodhisattva Unobstructed Eye said: The aggregate of existence and the cessation of the aggregate of existence, that is twofold. The aggregate of existence itself is cessation. Why is that? Because the view of the aggregate of existence does not arise, and whoever observes, does not think of it as the aggregate of existence, or think of it as the cessation of the aggregate of existence. He does not discriminate, does not make distinctions, does not extremely discriminate, therefore it becomes the nature of cessation. Not arising and not ceasing, that is entering non-duality. The Bodhisattva Extremely Tamed said: The discipline of body, speech, and mind, that is non-dual. Why is that? Because these dharmas are the nature of non-manifestation. Whatever is the non-manifestation of the body, the non-manifestation of speech is also of the same nature. The non-manifestation of the mind is also of the same nature. Whatever is the non-manifestation of all dharmas
