Drinking the essence of liberation, Purity of mind is the bath, Anointing with incense is morality. Since the enemies of afflictions are vanquished, They are the invincible heroes, The four Maras are also completely subdued. Raising the victory banner of the Bodhi mandala, Showing birth as desired, But there is no birth and no arising. Appearing in all fields, Like the rising of the sun. With all offerings to the guide, Even after offering to billions of Buddhas, For me and all the Buddhas, There will be no diminution. How to benefit sentient beings, Also acting in the Buddha fields, But the fields are like the sky. No concept of sentient beings as sentient beings, The forms of all sentient beings, And whatever sounds are uttered, The fearless Bodhisattvas, Show them in an instant. Although knowing the deeds of the Maras, Also following the Maras. The perfections of skillful means, Show all of their actions. Playing with the Dharma of illusion, For the sake of fully ripening sentient beings, Showing aging and sickness, And also showing death itself. When the earth burns intensely, Showing the burning of the eon, But sentient beings always perceive permanence, So showing the impermanence. Even hundreds of millions of sentient beings, Are hosted in one place. Giving all food in the house, And dedicating all for Bodhi. Whatever mantras and knowledge there are, Many kinds of crafts and skills, Also reaching the other shore of all, Making all sentient beings attain happiness. Whatever wonders there are in the world, All appearing in them, For sentient beings with different views, They are all explained. They become the moon or the sun, Indra, Brahma, Lord of beings, Also becoming water and fire, Likewise also earth and wind. In the intermediate eon of disease, They become the supreme medicine, By this, sentient beings are liberated, Diseases are eliminated and happiness is attained. In the intermediate eon of famine, Transforming into food and drink, Eliminating hunger and thirst, And teaching the Dharma to living beings. In the intermediate eon of weapons, They cultivate loving-kindness, Causing hundreds of millions of sentient beings, To enter into a harmless state of mind.

Da. In the midst of inciting great battles, they are equal to all sides. The powerful Bodhisattvas delight in reconciliation and gathering. In as many Buddha-fields as there are, even in the inconceivable hells, they go there deliberately for the benefit of sentient beings. In as many places of birth as there are for animals, if they show themselves going there, they also teach the Dharma in all places. Therefore, they are called good guides. They also show the enjoyment of desires, and show meditation to those who meditate. They completely destroy the hordes of demons, and do not let them find opportunities. Like a lotus in the midst of flames, they show what is not real; likewise, desire and meditation also show what is not real. After careful consideration, they transform into prostitutes in order to gather men, and after speaking with the hook of desire, they place them in the wisdom of the Buddha. For the benefit of sentient beings, they constantly become villagers and boatmen, guides and ministers, as well as great ministers. For poor sentient beings, they become inexhaustible treasures. To whomever they give charity, they plant the seeds of Bodhicitta in them. For arrogant and conceited sentient beings, they become the greatest authority, and after destroying all arrogance, they set them to seek unsurpassed Bodhi. For fearful sentient beings, they are always in front of them. After giving them fearlessness, they also ripen them in Bodhi. They become ascetics and practitioners of pure conduct with the five supernormal faculties, and they establish sentient beings in patience, joy, discipline, and vows. If sentient beings who serve diligently see them here with fearlessness, they become servants and attendants, and also draw near to disciples. With whatever limbs they cause sentient beings to rejoice in the Dharma, they show exceedingly vast means and all actions. Their learning is boundless, and the realm of their actions is also boundless. Because they have perfected boundless wisdom, they liberate boundless beings. Even for billions of eons, and for hundreds of thousands of billions of eons, the Blessed Buddhas would find it difficult to describe the extent of his qualities. For those who are without wisdom, inferior beings...

to which it belongs. Having heard this Dharma, who would not aspire to the supreme Bodhi? Thus concludes the seventh chapter, the Chapter on the Lineage of the Tathāgatas. Then, the Licchavi known as Vimala (Spotless) said to those Bodhisattvas: "Noble sons, what is the entry into the non-dual Dharma gate for Bodhisattvas? Please speak freely." The Bodhisattva named Dharma-Transformation, being assembled there, said: "Son of good family, birth and destruction are two. If there is no birth, there is no arising, and therefore there is no destruction. Obtaining forbearance of the Dharma of non-birth is entering into non-duality." The Bodhisattva named Śrī-garbha (Glorious Essence) said: "'I' and 'mine' are two. If there is no clinging to self, there will be no 'mine'. That which is without clinging is entering into non-duality." The Bodhisattva named Śrī-stūpa (Glorious Heap) said: "Defilement and purification are two. If one fully understands defilement and does not become arrogant about purification, and if one thoroughly subdues all arrogance and proceeds in accordance with the path, that is entering into non-duality." The Bodhisattva named Tāraka (Star) said: "Agitation and pride are two. If there is no agitation and no pride, no mental activity, no action, and detachment from action, that is entering into non-duality." The Bodhisattva named Su-pāṇi (Good Hand) said: "The mind of Bodhi and the mind of a Śrāvaka are two. If one sees the mind as being like an illusion, then there is neither the mind of Bodhi nor the mind of a Śrāvaka. If the nature of the mind is equal, that is entering into non-duality." The Bodhisattva named Animiṣa-netra (Unblinking Eye) said: "Taking and not taking are two. If there is no taking, there is no object of focus. If there is no object of focus, there is no discrimination or selection. Not acting or doing anything with all Dharmas is entering into non-duality." The Bodhisattva named Su-netra (Good Eye) said: "One characteristic and no characteristic are two. If one does not discriminate, does not universally discriminate, in one characteristic\
