The correct knowledge of each fearlessness refers to understanding the Dharma of words by discerning definitive statements, as well as fearlessness in knowing meditation, liberation, samadhi, equanimity, and entering into truth. Fearlessness in all vehicles. Fearlessness in teaching truthfully, thereby satisfying the conduct of all beings. Words that are neither abandoned nor dull, words that are not rude, words that are firm, words that are not coarse, words that are gentle, words that are pure, words that are completely liberated, words that are unobstructed, words that are thorough, words that are decisive, words that are immovable, words that are not arrogant, words that are peaceful, words that are dignified, words that are relevant, words that are complete, words that are without impurity, words that are extremely reasonable, words that are without deficiency, words that are pleasant, words that are mild, words that are not despised, words that are extremely captivating, words that are praised by all noble ones. With the following sounds that enable understanding of infinite Buddha-fields, and the following sounds that discern and understand the voice of Brahma, and with the fearlessness proclaimed by the Buddha, one teaches the Dharma by knowing the superior and non-superior faculties of other beings and individuals. Therefore, teaching the Dharma and practicing the Dharma will inevitably arise in order to completely exhaust suffering. This is called the correct knowledge of each fearlessness. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, these are the four inexhaustible individual correct knowledges of the Bodhisattvas. Sixth Chapter Venerable Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, Bodhisattvas also have four inexhaustible reliances. What are the four? They are: relying on meaning and not relying on words, relying on wisdom and not relying on consciousness, relying on sutras of definitive meaning and not relying on sutras of provisional meaning, and relying on Dharma-nature and not relying on individuals. 如實宣說七種根本。所謂「義」者,乃是顯現修持菩提分法之果。所謂「語句」者,乃是如實宣說痛苦、生起和道路之諦。所謂「義」者,乃是顯現止息。所謂「語句」者,乃是如實宣說從無明等至老死之間。所謂「義」者,乃是從止息無明至止息老死之間。所謂「語句」者,乃是宣說寂止和勝觀之集合。所謂「義」者,乃是智慧和解脫之智慧。所謂「語句」者,乃是向具有貪欲、瞋恨、愚癡和不平等行為之眾生宣說。所謂「義」者,乃是救度眾生不迷惑之智慧。所謂「語句」者,乃是如實宣說障礙和將成為障礙之法。所謂「義」者,乃是無障礙之智慧和解脫。所謂「語句」者,乃是宣說三寶之功德和無量讚頌。所謂「義」者,乃是見到佛之法身,以及遠離貪欲和止息之法性,以及無為之佛、法、僧之功德,成就之智慧。所謂「語句」者,乃是宣說從發起最初之心開始,直至安住於菩提樹下之間,菩薩之功德集合。所謂「義」者,乃是以與心之一剎那相應之智慧,現證圓滿正等覺之一切智智。總而言之,所宣說之八萬四千法蘊,此乃所謂「語句」。所有眾生之語言、文字和語句所無法表達之意義,此乃所謂「義」,此乃依義不依語。那麼,何謂識?何謂智慧?所謂識者,乃是識之四住,何謂四?即是,識之住處乃是趨近於色,趨近於受,趨近於想,趨近於

The words and phrases are to correctly teach the obscurations and the dharmas that will become obscurations. The meaning is the wisdom and liberation without obscurations. The words and phrases are to teach the qualities of the Three Jewels and the infinite praises. The meaning is seeing the Dharmakaya of the Buddha, and the nature of Dharma that is free from attachment and cessation, and the qualities of the unconditioned Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the wisdom of accomplishment. The words and phrases are to teach the collection of the qualities of the Bodhisattva from the moment of generating the first thought until sitting under the Bodhi tree. The meaning is the complete enlightenment of the omniscient wisdom with the wisdom that is in accordance with one moment of mind. In short, this teaching of the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma is called words and phrases. The meaning that cannot be expressed by the language, letters, and words of all beings is the meaning, which is to rely on the meaning and not on the words. Then, what is consciousness?
