and diligence, mind, and wisdom, and by practicing, being able to use, and mastering the dharmas that are complete, therefore, by diligently cultivating these four bases of miraculous power, he will attain effortless miraculous power, and he will experience various kinds of miraculous transformations. His miraculous transformations are for the sake of observing sentient beings, thereby extensively causing sentient beings to mature. He uses miraculous transformations to subdue sentient beings, showing sentient beings various kinds of miraculous transformations, whether in form, power, or blessing. He will show sentient beings whatever forms and colors can subdue them. Whether he shows the form and color of a Buddha, or the form and color of a Bodhisattva, or the form and color of a Pratyekabuddha, or the form and color of a Shravaka, or the form and color of Indra, or the form and color of a world protector, or the form and color of a Chakravartin, similarly, he also shows the form and color of Vishnu, Shiva, Mahadeva, Brahma, and the Lord of Progeny, or he shows any other form and color, even showing the form and color of an animal realm being, he will show whatever forms and colors can subdue sentient beings, and according to their inclinations, he will teach the Dharma to sentient beings. He will show various powers to subdue those sentient beings who are proud, angry, arrogant, conceited, and haughty, or he will show the power of Indra, or he will show the power of Brahma, or he will show the power of a world protector, or he will show the power of a Chakravartin, or he will show the power of great strength, or he will show one-fourth of the power of Ajita, or he will show one-half of the power of Ajita, or he will even show the full power of Ajita, the power of a Bodhisattva

By the power he possesses, he lifts Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains, with three fingers and throws it upwards, reaching a height of one million six hundred and forty thousand yojanas and a width of eighty-four thousand yojanas, just like that. For example, even if he throws it to another world like throwing a single myrobalan fruit, the power of that Bodhisattva will not diminish. This vast three-thousand-great-thousand world, so wide and expansive, from the water element up to the Akanishtha heaven, he places it on the palm of his hand and remains there for a kalpa or more, and demonstrates all activities. The Bodhisattva has such power, and in order to subdue beings who are arrogant, wrathful, proud, conceited, and haughty, he teaches the Dharma. Through the blessings of these miraculous feet, one obtains wisdom. Whatever wisdom is blessed by the blessing of the Bodhisattva, it transforms exactly as it is. If he blesses the great ocean to become as small as a cow's footprint, then it remains as small as a cow's footprint. If he blesses the cow's footprint to become the great ocean, then it remains the great ocean itself. If he blesses the fire of the eon of destruction to become a mass of water, then it remains a mass of water. If he blesses the mass of water to become a mass of fire, then it remains a mass of fire. If he blesses the mass of fire to become a mass of wind, then it remains a mass of wind. If he blesses the mass of wind to become a mass of fire, then it remains a mass of fire. If he blesses the mass of fire to become a mass of earth, then it remains a mass of earth. If he blesses the mass of earth to become a mass of fire, then it remains a mass of fire. Likewise, whatever inferior, intermediate, or superior phenomena are blessed by his blessing, they remain exactly as they are. His blessing is...

Apart from the Blessed Ones, neither Indra, nor Brahma, nor Mara, nor gods of Mara's retinue, nor anyone else, can move, shake, or make invisible anything in the world in accordance with the Dharma. Because among sentient beings, there is no sentient being who can move, shake, or make invisible the blessing of a Bodhisattva. The Bodhisattva, with the power of wisdom of the blessing, teaches the Dharma to sentient beings who are willing to accept various words, joy, and satisfaction, as it is. His miraculous feet are also extremely superior, transcending his own vows, transcending the realm of Mara and all afflictions, entering the realm of the Buddha, combining harmlessly with all sentient beings, accumulating roots of virtue and merit, and not being taken away by Mara and the gods of Mara's retinue. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, this is the inexhaustible supernormal knowledge of Bodhisattvas knowing the activities of miracles. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, these are called the five inexhaustible supernormal knowledges of Bodhisattvas. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, the four inexhaustible objects of collection of Bodhisattvas, what are the four? They are: giving, kind speech, beneficial action, and consistent action. Among them, giving is the giving of material things and the giving of Dharma. Kind speech is speaking softly and pleasantly to those who ask and those who listen to the Dharma. Beneficial action is completely accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others as desired. Consistent action is properly establishing those who receive Dharma and material things in the vehicle that one considers to have merit. Furthermore, giving is giving to those who ask with a satisfied mind. Kind speech is not scolding those who ask. Beneficial action is completely accomplishing the benefit of those who ask. Consistent action is truly introducing them into that very vehicle. Furthermore, giving is giving from the depths of one's heart. Kind speech is
