That is to say, not to discriminate against this and that. Not being attached to the inexhaustible dharmas, not abandoning diligence, strength, faith, ability, and effort, and completely accomplishing those virtuous dharmas, this is, son of the worthy Sharadvatiputra, the inexhaustible abandonment of the Bodhisattvas. Son of the worthy Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, the five superknowledges of the Bodhisattvas are also inexhaustible. What are the five? Namely, the divine eye, the divine ear, knowing the minds of others, remembering past lives, and knowing miraculous actions. Among them, what is the divine eye of the Bodhisattvas? It is the divine eye of all the gods, all the nagas, all the yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and all non-humans, the divine eye of all learners and non-learners among the Shravakas, and the divine eye of all Pratyekabuddhas. Because of these, the divine eye of those Bodhisattvas who have definitely arisen from the all-knowing wisdom, who have definitely arisen from the vast wisdom, is the most supreme! It is the most sacred! It is the most excellent! It is the most outstanding! It is the most luminous! It is the most beautiful! It is the most powerful! It is the most radiant! With that divine eye, in the boundless and limitless realms of the ten directions, whatever form appears, whether coarse or subtle, beautiful or ugly, distant or near, all of them are known, appear, and are thoroughly understood by their divine eye, thoroughly known, thoroughly seen. In the boundless and limitless realms of the ten directions, except for sentient beings in the formless realms, all sentient beings born in all realms, the death and birth of all those sentient beings are known as they truly are. The causes of karma of all those sentient beings are also known as they truly are. The results of karma and the order of faculties of all those sentient beings are also known as they truly are. In the boundless and limitless realms of the ten directions, all the qualities and arrangements of the Buddha-fields of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are seen.

Moreover, having seen, because one's own discipline is completely pure, in order to make the qualities and arrangement of one's own Buddha-field completely pure, one completely dedicates the accumulations of merit and wisdom. The dedication of those who abide in the qualities of discipline will be accomplished. Their divine eye sees all the Sangha of Bodhisattvas of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Having seen, they also perfect all the rituals, conduct, sphere of activity, mindfulness, awareness, deportment, abode, power, Dharma, liberation, wisdom, support, dharani, skill in eloquence, intelligence, wisdom, and skillful means of those noble beings. Their eye is unobstructed because it sees all forms. Their eye is without attachment because it is not attached to all forms. Their eye is completely liberated from latent tendencies, views, and all arising. Their eye is completely pure because it is naturally luminous. Their eye does not abide in all objects. Their eye does not generate all afflictions and latent tendencies. Their eye is without doubt, therefore without dimness. Their eye does not arise in any way towards all phenomena that could become an obstruction. Their eye has obtained the clarity that illuminates all phenomena. Their eye relies on wisdom and is not the sphere of activity of consciousness. Their eye is not tainted, hateful, or deluded by all afflictions. Their eye is in accordance with the discriminating aspect of the noble faculties. Their eye is unobstructed wisdom itself because it equally emits rays of light to all sentient beings, and their eye is completely pure because it is separated from the non-virtuous Dharma of the mind. Their eye is without stain because it is not naturally afflicted in every way. Their eye, because it has not abandoned intention, is accomplished by the Buddha's eye. Their eye, because it is free from attachment and anger, therefore…

Not attached and not bound. Their eyes are closely confirmed by the truth of the realm of meaning, and they act without being attached to the path of knowing the pure Dharma. Why is that? Because these noble beings abide in great compassion, understand all Dharmas, deeply realize the meaning, are without fault, speak the Dharma as they have seen and heard, destroy the unwholesome, manifestly turn towards the essence of Bodhi, their minds are unobstructed in any place, they are endowed with generosity towards the miserly, have compassion for those who have broken their vows, have no intention of harming those with harmful intentions, accomplish diligence for the lazy, show the limbs of meditation to those whose minds are distracted, bestow the eye of wisdom upon those with perverse wisdom, guide those who have entered the wrong path, enable those who believe in the inferior to realize the vast Buddhadharma, lead them into the all-knowing wisdom, and for the sake of perfecting Bodhi, their supernormal knowledges do not decline. This is called the inexhaustible divine eye supernormal knowledge of the Bodhisattvas. What, then, is the inexhaustible divine ear supernormal knowledge of the Bodhisattvas? It is the divine ear of all the gods, all the nagas, all the yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, all humans and non-humans, and the divine ear of all the shravakas who are learners and non-learners, and the divine ear of all the pratyekabuddhas. Compared to these, the divine ear of the Bodhisattvas, which definitely arises from the all-knowing nature and definitely arises from the vastness, is the most excellent, the most sacred, the most supreme, the most clear, the most beautiful, the most powerful, and the most radiant. This divine ear can hear the sounds of gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans and non-humans, which are proclaimed in the boundless and limitless realms of the ten directions, as well as the sounds of all the noble ones, the sounds of shravakas and pratyekabuddhas.
