cherishing as if holding onto the eyeballs, and, cherishing the Khenpos and Acharyas as if they were Buddhas, cherishing the diligent ones as if they were the supreme limb, the head, cherishing the Paramitas as if they were hands and feet, cherishing the Dharma speakers as if they were all jewels, cherishing all the Buddha's teachings as if they were wish-fulfilling jewels, cherishing the followers as if they were joyful games, cherishing the content ones as if they were free from illness, cherishing those who seek the Dharma as if they were medicine, cherishing those who encourage and remind as if they were doctors. O son of Sharadvati, the monk, thus, whatever does not surpass the senses in all the senses, this is called great joy. The so-called great joy is the aspect of peace for the sake of the wisdom of realization. Because it is not rough, it is the aspect of extreme peace. Because it is not arrogant, it is the aspect of extreme taming. Because it is not distracted, it is the aspect of the joy of the senses. Because it does not diminish, it is the aspect of asceticism. Because of desire, it is the aspect of certainty. Because it is easy to understand, it is the aspect of hearing. Because the mind is capable, it is the aspect of near peace. Because the work is well done, it is the aspect of joy. Because there is no fault, it is the aspect of no regret. Because it is unwavering, it is the aspect of being extremely stable. Because it does not dwell, it is the aspect of being unwavering. Because it is difficult to tame, it is the aspect of being difficult to approach. Because it is not wasted, it is the aspect of meaning. Because it is not mistaken, it is the aspect of truth. Because it does that, it is the aspect of only that. Because of strength, it is the aspect of joy. Because it does not deceive, it is the aspect of strength. Because it is not weary of seeking all the Buddha's teachings as they truly are, it is the aspect of perfecting the Buddha's teachings. O son of Sharadvati, the monk, this is called the great joy of the Bodhisattvas, which is inexhaustible. O son of Sharadvati, the monk, furthermore, the equanimity of the Bodhisattvas is also inexhaustible. Among them, the equanimity of the Bodhisattvas is of three kinds. What are the three kinds?
