For the sake of taming, all the perfections have been completely purified. That vehicle, being unobstructed in its approach to the essence of enlightenment, therefore cultivates the accumulation of omniscient wisdom. That vehicle, in order to be a place of giving for all sentient beings, equally emits unobstructed rays of light to all sentient beings. That vehicle, because all the Buddha's teachings are manifest, transcends all the fears of the evil paths. That vehicle is the raising of the banners and standards of all the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment and dependent origination, utterly destroying all the gatherings of demons, adversaries, and evil retinues. That vehicle is the unobstructed vehicle of the Buddhas, eliminating all extremes and non-extremes, permanence and annihilation, arising and ceasing, and all that becomes view, as well as all afflictions, obscurations, severance, doubt, and regret. That vehicle is revealed by higher intention and great compassion, therefore all dharmas are perfect, possessing all jewels, obtaining all perfections, walking on the path of non-deception, and closely nourishing all sentient beings. That vehicle is without fault at all times, adorned with the ten powers, fearlessnesses, unmixed Buddha-dharmas, excellent marks and signs, and the ornaments of body, speech, and mind. Whoever is skilled in this is called skilled in the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva. So, what is it that a Bodhisattva is skilled in regarding all dharmas? All dharmas are, in short, conditioned and unconditioned. So, a Bodhisattva should be skilled in the conditioned and the unconditioned. So, what is it that a Bodhisattva is skilled in regarding the conditioned? Whatever virtuous actions of body, virtuous actions of speech, and virtuous actions of mind are manifestly performed, all of those are completely dedicated to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment; this is called a Bodhisattva's skill in the conditioned. Whatever virtuous actions of body, speech, and mind are manifestly performed, all of those are contemplated with enlightenment, all-knowing.

This is to completely dedicate the roots of virtue to omniscient wisdom, which is called being skilled in the unconditioned. Furthermore, being skilled in the conditioned means to truly practice the five perfections. What are the five? They are the perfection of generosity, the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, and the perfection of meditation. This is the bodhisattva's skill in the conditioned. If one does not slander the perfection of wisdom, as well as the five perfections of unconditioned wisdom, and in order to perfect the collection of all perfections and accumulate roots of virtue, one completely dedicates the bodhisattva's stainless liberation and omniscient wisdom, this is called being skilled in the unconditioned. Furthermore, being skilled in the conditioned means that in order to equally emit unobstructed rays of light to all sentient beings, one gathers sentient beings with the four objects of gathering, this is the bodhisattva's skill in the conditioned. If one does not grasp, does not take, and does not extremely grasp at the absence of sentient beings and selflessness, and is skilled in the four objects of gathering, and also completely dedicates the faith in the unconditioned to omniscient wisdom, this is called being skilled in the unconditioned. Furthermore, being skilled in the conditioned means to cut off the afflictions of the stream of samsara, not abandon the roots of virtue of the stream of samsara, the constant continuation of the practice of bodhi, and not constantly engage in trivial practices, this is called being skilled in the conditioned. If one is skilled in the wisdom that makes one familiar with the dharmas of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, and does not rely on others for bodhi, and does not directly realize the unconditioned, this is called being skilled in the unconditioned. Furthermore, being skilled in the conditioned means that although one acts in the three realms, one is not defiled by the afflictions that act in the three realms, this is called being skilled in the conditioned. Furthermore, although one knows well the wisdom of liberation from the three realms, one does not fall into the realm of liberation, this is
