All dharmas are also the same as this, because they abide in equality, therefore it is called abiding. One's own mind is equal, abiding in the equality of the minds of all sentient beings, therefore it is called abiding. Being equal to all that is beneficial and not beneficial, having a mind equal to the earth, a mind equal to water, a mind equal to fire, a mind equal to wind, a mind equal to space, abiding neither high nor low, not wavering, abiding equally in all actions, actions not artificial, naturally abiding, not rough, not distracted, not speaking nonsense, speech not frivolous, knowing the meaning, knowing the Dharma, knowing the time, knowing the measure, knowing the non-time, following all the world, not mixing with the world, transcending the eight worldly dharmas, not mixing with all afflictions, even in the midst of noise, behavior is solitary, a Bodhisattva abiding in such a Dharma, neither abandons the state of equal abiding, nor appears in all worldly affairs. Venerable son of Sharadvati, this is called the Bodhisattva's means and the perfection of meditation realized by wisdom. So, what is the Bodhisattva's means? What is wisdom? When the Bodhisattva is not abiding, in order to observe sentient beings, focusing the mind on the object of great compassion, this is called the Bodhisattva's means. Meditating with tranquility and extreme tranquility, this is his wisdom. When the Bodhisattva is abiding, relying on the wisdom of the Buddha, this is his means. Which Meditating without clinging to any Dharma, this is his wisdom. When the Bodhisattva is abiding, observing the complete upholding of the holy Dharma, this is his means. Meditating on the Dharma realm of Dharma without distinction, this is his wisdom. When the Bodhisattva is abiding, manifesting the adornment of the Buddha's body, this is
