And, being free from all characteristics, and, that also enters into all the activities of characteristics, and also abides in the activities of wisdom, therefore all activities also perform the actions of wisdom. So what is the activity of wisdom of a Bodhisattva? Whatever is the cause of the root of virtue, and also for all sentient beings, does not abandon the accumulation as the cause of great compassion, and does not fall into not accumulating the cause of the Buddha's wisdom, this is called the inexhaustible perfection of diligence of the Bodhisattvas. When this inexhaustible perfection of diligence was taught, seventy-six kotis of nayutas of gods and humans generated the mind of unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. Thirty-two thousand Bodhisattvas also obtained the forbearance of non-arising dharmas. Then, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said to the Bodhisattva Inexhaustible Wisdom: Son of good family, this inexhaustible diligence of the Bodhisattvas, you have spoken well. Son of good family, begin the inexhaustible meditation of the Bodhisattvas, please explain how the Bodhisattvas become inexhaustible meditation. Inexhaustible Wisdom said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the inexhaustible perfection of meditation of the Bodhisattvas has sixteen aspects, which are not possessed by all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. So, what are those sixteen aspects? It is like this: In order to perfect the Tathagata's meditation, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is not attached to it. In order not to be attached to self-happiness, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is without tasting. In order to abandon the afflictions of all sentient beings, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is focused on great compassion. In order to focus on the desire realm, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is the cessation of samadhi. In order to fully know all the mental activities of all sentient beings, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is the complete practice of supernormal knowledge. In order to know the mastery of the mind.
