All those minds that arise become present in a single object of a sentient being's mind. In this way, all sentient beings become filled with such a multitude of immeasurable minds. All the desire, hatred, and ignorance of all sentient beings that have arisen in the past, future, and present, all those become present in a single mind of a single sentient being. In this way, even if all sentient beings become minds filled with such a multitude of immeasurable afflictions, a bodhisattva should accomplish a collection of wisdom such that all the arising minds that belong to the minds of those sentient beings, all those arising minds, each produce their own objects, and know their destruction and dissolution. Such a collection of wisdom should be generated. Through that wisdom, there is nothing that is not known about what appears in the minds of those sentient beings, and what appears as afflictions, in relation to the three times. Son of the noble Śāradvatī, for example, there is nothing that is not pervaded by this space. Similarly, this wisdom of a bodhisattva, there is nothing that is not clearly manifested or completely unknown about what appears in the minds of those sentient beings, or what appears as afflictions, in relation to the three times. This is called the inexhaustible treasury of the wisdom of a bodhisattva. Then, what is the inexhaustible treasury for a bodhisattva to perfectly accomplish all the Buddha-dharmas? Accumulating all collections of virtuous roots, accumulating all collections of perfections, and accumulating all dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, these are the inexhaustible treasury for perfectly accomplishing all the Buddha-dharmas. From the beginning of generating the mind of enlightenment until sitting under the Bodhi tree, all the objects of generating the mind of enlightenment and the accumulated application, all those collections of virtuous mind generation, through which all the Buddha-dharmas are perfectly accomplished, this is called the inexhaustible treasury for a bodhisattva to perfectly accomplish all the Buddha-dharmas. Son of the noble Śāradvatī, these eight are the proper exertion of bodhisattvas.

The inexhaustible diligence of the Bodhisattvas is the basis of virtuous deeds of the body, the basis of virtuous deeds of speech, and the basis of virtuous deeds of mind. Why is that? Because all those diligences are connected with body, speech, and mind. Therefore, it is said that the diligence of the mind is superior to the diligence of body and speech. So, what is the diligence of the mind? It is the entering of the mind and the abiding of the mind. So, what is the entering of the mind? It is the arising of the mind of enlightenment. So, what is the abiding of the mind? It is that the mind of enlightenment does not tend towards quiescence. So, what is entering? It is great compassion for sentient beings. What is the abiding of the mind? It is patience with selflessness. So, what is entering? It is gathering all sentient beings. What is abiding? It is not clinging to all dharmas. So, what is entering? It is not being weary of samsara. What is abiding? It is not fixating on the three realms. So, what is entering? It is completely giving away all possessions. What is abiding? It is not being arrogant with generosity. So, what is entering? It is properly taking up the training. What is abiding? It is not being arrogant with the training. So, what is entering? It is being patient and not angry. What is abiding? It is not leaving scars on the mind. So, what is entering? It is initiating all roots of virtue. What is abiding? It is the mind being secluded. So, what is entering? It is properly practicing meditation. What is abiding? It is truly contemplating in the mind. So, what is entering? It is not being satisfied with hearing. What is abiding? It is proper application. So, what is entering? It is teaching the Dharma as it has been heard. What is abiding? It is the inexpressible nature of Dharma. So, what is entering? It is completely seeking the accumulation of wisdom. What is abiding? It is the complete cessation of elaboration. So, what is entering? It is the abodes of Brahma and so on. What is abiding? It is equanimity with correct knowledge. So, what is entering? It is perfecting the five supernormal cognitions. What is abiding? It is becoming familiar with the undefiled.
