There is no giving. There is no giving with contempt for the small. There is no giving with pride in great giving. There is no giving of perverse practice. There is no giving with desire for rebirth. There is no giving with great delight in form, enjoyment, and power. There is no giving with the wish to be born as Indra, Brahma, the guardians of the world, and all the gods. There is no giving dedicated to the vehicle of hearers and solitary Buddhas. There is no giving with the desire for the power of a young kingdom. There is no giving that is exhausted in one lifetime. There is no giving that is all-sufficient and unnecessary. There is no giving that is not dedicated to the mind of omniscience. There is no giving that is not appropriate. There is no giving that is not timely. There is no giving of poison and weapons. There is no giving that harms sentient beings. The giving of the Bodhisattvas is not condemned by the wise. That giving is accomplished by the aspect of emptiness, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is completely meditated upon by the absence of characteristics, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is perfectly established in the absence of aspiration, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is completely dedicated without being manifestly compounded, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is rightly grasped, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is not mixed with the three realms, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is the fruit that is liberated from the cause and effect, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is the cutting off of all demons, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is not mixed with all defilements, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is extraordinary, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is well done and certain, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is the accumulation of the collections of the path of enlightenment, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is rightly dedicated, therefore it is inexhaustible. That giving is the ornament of the essence of enlightenment, the fruit of liberation, the fruit of cause and effect, therefore it is inexhaustible.

Generosity is completely undiminishing, therefore it is inexhaustible. Generosity is universally unrelated, therefore it is inexhaustible. Generosity is given to the wisdom of omniscience, therefore it is inexhaustible. Venerable son of Sharadvati, this is called the inexhaustible generosity of the Bodhisattvas. Then, the venerable son of Sharadvati said to the Bodhisattva Inexhaustible Intellect: "Son of good family, you have spoken well of this inexhaustible generosity of the Bodhisattvas. Son of good family, starting from the inexhaustible discipline of the Bodhisattvas, how can you bravely say that the discipline of the Bodhisattvas becomes inexhaustible?" Inexhaustible Intellect said: "Venerable son of Sharadvati, in sixty-five ways, the aggregate of discipline of the Bodhisattvas is completely inexhaustible. What are the sixty-five? Namely: not harming all sentient beings, not stealing the possessions of others, not being attached to the wives of others, not deceiving all sentient beings, being content with one's own retinue and being without flattery, enduring harsh words and not being rude, completely abandoning harsh words and not speaking idle talk, rejoicing in the happiness of others and being without greed, enduring the path of speech of evil words and evil speech and being without malice, having right view without the teachings of other teachers, in the mind
