It should not be said it is not, nor should it be regarded as Dharma. Why is that? Sons of good families, it is also said in the sutras that monks, whoever wishes to understand my Dharma, it is like a raft, even Dharma should be abandoned, what more to say of non-Dharma? Whoever becomes indifferent to Dharma and non-Dharma is called seeing the Buddha. Why is that? The Tathagata is said to be indifferent to all Dharmas. Not clinging to or grasping the name of Dharma, if one does not even cling to the name of Dharma, what more to say of the name of non-Dharma? Sons of good families, being separated from the names of all Dharmas is called the Tathagata, whoever sees it that way is called seeing the Tathagata. Why is that? Because of being separated from seeing all Dharmas, it is called seeing the Tathagata. Because all Dharmas are without object, knowing and seeing all Dharmas as they truly are, it is called seeing the Tathagata. Sons of good families, if all Dharmas are without object and separated from all Dharmas, then there is no elaboration or dispute in the name of Dharma and non-Dharma, there is no action, it cannot be indicated, that is called seeing the Tathagata. Whichever being sees the Dharma in that way is called seeing the Tathagata. Whoever sees the Tathagata in that way is seeing truly. Whoever does not see it that way is called wrong view. Whoever has wrong view is seeing what is not true, that being is seeing the truth itself. Sons of good families, seeing the truth itself is abandoning all paths of speech and expression, it is neither true, nor not true, neither existent, nor non-existent, being separated from all Dharmas, also not taking all Dharmas, not fixating on all Dharmas, seeing in that way is seeing the Tathagata. Why is that? Sons of good families, the Tathagata does not generate attachment to Dharma, seeing the separation from the nature of all Dharmas is called seeing the Tathagata, whoever sees it that way is seeing truly. Sons of good families, you should look at the Tathagata in that way.

You should examine the Tathagata as I have said. If you look at it that way, you should realize that all dharmas are Tathagatas. Having attained the suchness of all dharmas, having attained the truth of all dharmas, having attained the nature of all dharmas that are not true, knowing that all dharmas are the dharmas of the Tathagata, and also knowing that all dharmas are the realm of activity of the Tathagata, you should realize that all dharmas are the realm of inconceivable activity. Sons of good family, therefore I have said that all dharmas are the realm of activity of the Tathagata. The realm of activity of the Tathagata is without activity. Why is that? Because what is called the realm of activity of all dharmas, there is no dharma to practice. Therefore, whatever is without activity is said to be the realm of activity of the Tathagata. The realm of activity of all dharmas is without activity, and that without activity is called the realm of activity of the Tathagata. Why is that? Because the realm of activity of all dharmas is nothing, and without activity is called the realm of activity of the Tathagata. All realms of activity enter into the realm of activity of the Tathagata, which is non-activity. Because the Tathagata has understood those dharmas, therefore the absence of activity is called the realm of activity of the Tathagata. Sons of good family, if someone knows that all dharmas are without activity, then that person is said to enter the realm of activity of the Tathagata. That person is said to realize the realm of activity of the Tathagata. That person is said to seek the realm of activity of the Tathagata. That person is said to be unattached to the realm of activity of the Tathagata. Why is that? Because that person knows that the absence of activity is the realm of activity of the Tathagata. Knowing that being separated from activity is the realm of activity of the Tathagata. For example, all dharmas are without object, unobservable, and non-abiding, therefore non-activity is the realm of activity of the Tathagata. It is the realm of activity that enters into wisdom, because it does not enter into all dharmas. How is that? For all dharmas...
