It has reached the state of omniscience. Light Guardian, for example, the great ocean does not coexist with corpses. Light Guardian, similarly, those noble beings also do not coexist with the minds of hearers and solitary realizers. They do not coexist with miserliness, evil dispositions, harmful thoughts, laziness, forgetfulness, and the minds of perverse wisdom. They do not coexist with views of self, sentient beings, life, person, and individual. Light Guardian, for example, when the fire of the eon burns, rivers, tributaries, springs, ponds, puddles, and all lakes will first dry up, and then the great ocean will be exhausted and dried up. Light Guardian, similarly, when the sacred Dharma declines, the sacred Dharma of all sentient beings who are engaged in temporary pleasures will first decline, and then the sacred Dharma will decline from the hands of those noble beings, like an ocean of wisdom, who correctly hold the Buddha's vehicle. Furthermore, Light Guardian, those noble beings would rather give up their lives than give up the sacred Dharma. So, Light Guardian, would the sacred Dharma decline from the hands of such noble beings? You will not see the sacred Dharma decline from their hands. Light Guardian, for example, in the great ocean there is a jewel called "gathering all precious jewels," a great jewel of a vajra assembly. Even if seven suns rise and rays of light shine up to the Brahma world, that jewel will not burn. Because in other Buddhafields between worlds, where there are great oceans, that jewel will be transferred there. Light Guardian, if that jewel does not transfer from the great ocean and is not burned in this world, that is impossible, there is no opportunity, that is non-existent. Light Guardian, similarly, those noble beings, when the sacred Dharma is completely exhausted and seven non-dharmas exist in the world, they will transfer to other Buddhafields.

It will also become like this. What are the seven? Namely, the realm of non-Buddhists, being completely occupied by sinful friends, evil deeds, acts of mutual harm, the darkness of views, destroying roots of virtue, not having obtained and not having realized; these are the seven non-holy dharmas. When these appear in the world, knowing that beings are not vessels, those holy beings will transfer to other Buddha-lands, seeing the Buddha, hearing the holy Dharma, causing beings to mature, roots of virtue to be completely ignited, and will never be separated. Shariputra, for example, relying on the great ocean, countless beings are able to dwell. Shariputra, likewise, relying on the Bodhisattva, countless beings are able to dwell in the three perfections. What are the three? The perfection of gods, the perfection of humans, and the perfection of Nirvana. Shariputra, for example, the water of the great ocean cannot be drunk by beings. Shariputra, likewise, the Dharma spoken by those holy beings cannot be drunk by opponents from other sides. Shariputra, for example, the beings dwelling in the great ocean do not seek other water, but only drink that water. Shariputra, likewise, those holy beings do not drink the taste of Dharma by considering the faces of others, but only drink the taste of the Dharma of self-born wisdom. At that time, the venerable Mahakashyapa said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, the depth or measure of the great ocean of the three thousand great thousand world realms can be measured by the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and the world including the gods, but the depth or measure of those holy beings cannot be measured. Therefore, we say that the minds of those holy beings are equal to space. The Blessed One taught: Shariputra, the depth or measure of the great oceans of the three thousand great thousand world realms, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, can be measured by the Shravakas and Pratyeka-
