There are no things dependent on conditions. To see oneself as self and to see the Buddha as self. Whether it is to see emptiness, or to see nirvana and samsara, all do not exist in it. After knowing the nature of wisdom, as soon as it appears, they will be free from darkness, without attachment, and will practice the conduct of enlightenment. This Great Vehicle, the Buddha Vehicle is inconceivable, it opens up opportunities for sentient beings, the Great Vehicle is unsurpassed. Whatever vehicles there are, this is considered the supreme of them. Therefore, from the Great Vehicle, all vehicles can be completely distinguished. Other vehicles are small, and there is no opportunity for everything. In this Great Vehicle, the opportunity for all embodied beings is spoken of. The Great Vehicle is like the sky, immaculate, and whoever enters it will not be stingy to all sentient beings. Just as the sky is boundless and has no shape and cannot be pointed out, similarly, this Great Vehicle is immeasurable and without obstacles. If all sentient beings also want this sacred vehicle, then there is an opportunity for everything, look at the differences of the vehicles. The merits of the Great Vehicle, and those who abide in it, the end of their praise cannot be spoken even after countless eons. Just holding the four-line verse in this sutra, they can abandon the unfree states, those wise ones obtain leisure. Those who rejoice in this sutra, they will not fall into the lower realms from now on, they will become gods and humans. In the time of great future fear, whoever hears this sutra, I predict that they will all be very inclined to enlightenment. They have the Dharma in their hands, they abide in the sacred Dharma, even abiding in this Dharma, they will turn the wheel of Dharma. Whoever holds this sutra, they will attain perfect enlightenment, from endless samsara, those great selves will abandon it. Those who hold this method, they are brave and powerful, they can completely destroy the armies of demons, with great diligence and great wisdom. Those who rejoice in this sutra, when I am holding and abiding, just like the prophecy of Dipankara Buddha, at that time they were also prophesied. Whoever speaks this sutra, he is the Buddha.

The protector of the earth, if the savior of the world does not appear, he will perform the deeds of the Buddha. Furthermore, when this verse on accomplishing realization was taught, five thousand sons of gods generated the mind of enlightenment. Two thousand bodhisattvas generated forbearance towards the dharma of non-arising. More than a thousand monks, without taking anything, their minds were completely liberated from defilements. Thirty-two thousand sentient beings, in all dharmas, obtained the pure Dharma eye, free from dust and defilements. Then, Manjushri, having become a youth, said to the Bhagavan: As I understand the meaning of what the Bhagavan has said, whoever aspires for enlightenment is aspiring for wrong views. Why is that? Bhagavan, the object of focus is wrong. Therefore, those who focus on enlightenment and aspire to that object, their efforts are wrong. Why is that? Bhagavan, enlightenment does not abide in the desire realm, does not abide in the form realm, does not abide in the formless realm. Bhagavan, enlightenment is non-abiding, so there is no need to aspire to it. Bhagavan, for example, if someone says: I will obtain the sky. If he aspires to the sky, will he obtain the sky? The Bhagavan replied: Manjushri, that is not possible. Manjushri said: Bhagavan, similarly, those who aspire to enlightenment, which is like the sky, are aspiring to the sky. Bhagavan, Enlightenment is without aspiration, beyond the three times, not approaching. Bhagavan, if a bodhisattva makes a dualistic distinction, thinking that enlightenment is one thing and samsara is another; enlightenment is one thing and becoming a seer is another; enlightenment is one thing and nirvana is another, such bodhisattvas are not practicing enlightenment. Then, Brahma Khasemacitta said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, how does a bodhisattva practice to be practicing enlightenment? He said: Brahma, if a bodhisattva practices all dharmas, but does not cling to any dharma, then that bodhisattva is practicing enlightenment.

Brahma, the Bodhisattva who transcends the realm of practice, practices in enlightenment. Said: Manjushri, how does a Bodhisattva who transcends the realm of practice practice in enlightenment? Said: Being free from all signs of objects and being free from eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, in this way one is truly beyond all realms of practice. Said: Manjushri, what is meant by truly transcending? Said: Not departing from equality. Why is that? Brahma, enlightenment is the equality of all dharmas. Said: Manjushri, how should a Bodhisattva enter into enlightenment? Said: As enlightenment is. Said: What is enlightenment like? Said: Brahma, that enlightenment is neither past, nor future, nor present. Therefore, a Bodhisattva should truly enter into enlightenment with the aspect of complete purification of the three times and with the complete purification of the three spheres. How is the past, how is the future, how is the present, how is the unborn, and there is no distinction in what is unborn. Whoever enters in this way does not enter into anything. Why is that? By this entry, one will attain the wisdom of omniscience. Said: Manjushri, why is it called the wisdom of omniscience? Said: The wisdom that knows all is called the wisdom of omniscience. Said: Manjushri, what is complete knowledge? Said: Brahma, that complete knowledge in which there is no object and in which there is no complete knowledge in complete knowledge, that is complete knowledge. As things are, so is its complete knowledge. Said: Why are there no things? Said: Things are devoid of the nature of names, and when their names and nature are devoid, things are not other, and enlightenment is not other. If things are other and enlightenment is also taken as other, then in this way, as enlightenment is, so are things. Therefore, sentient beings are not separate here, and they will not be realized in another way, otherwise, the equality of self is the equality of enlightenment, and the equality of enlightenment is self.
