No, it is not. Said: Which are those beings who are completely extinguished by the Tathagata? Said: Manjushri, as you, the youth, show the form of the Dharma, there is neither samsara nor nirvana in this. Said: Brahma, it is just so, the Tathagata neither clings to samsara nor clings to complete nirvana. Brahma, those Shravakas who were tamed by the Bhagavan, they also do not cling to samsara, nor do they cling to nirvana. Brahma, this so-called complete nirvana is just a fabricated word and term, there is nothing in this, neither samsara nor complete nirvana. Said: Manjushri, who will have faith in this? Said: Those who do not cling to any Dharma. Said: Manjushri, what does this so-called clinging cling to? Said: Brahma, this so-called clinging clings to non-existence. If, Brahma, one were to cling to existence, one would not be completely free from intense pride like this. Like this, it clings to non-existence, therefore, realizing that it is "non-existent," one does not cling to it. Whoever does not cling, does not revolve. Whoever does not revolve, does not transform. Whoever does not transform is called nirvana. Said: Manjushri, why is complete nirvana called nirvana because it is the antidote to what? Said: Brahma, complete nirvana is so called because it does not mutually establish conditions. Ignorance does not manifestly accumulate, nor does it allow accumulation, therefore it does not closely connect. Whoever does not closely connect does not completely arise. Whoever does not completely arise is called complete nirvana. Acting without completely arising is complete cessation. Realizing that path is complete non-arising, this is called the Four Noble Truths. Then, the Brahmin, a son like a great Sal tree, abiding equally, said this to Manjushri, the youth: Manjushri, all that you have taught is truly taught. Said: Son of good family, all words are true.

pa'o. Said: Manjushri, whatever false words exist are non-existent, whatever is not true, is that true? Said: Son of good family, that is also true. Why is that? Like this, all speech is independent, it does not abide in an object, nor does it abide in a direction. Whatever is independent and does not abide in an object, nor does it abide in a direction, that is true because it is non-existent. Therefore, all words are called true. Whatever words are spoken by Devadatta, and whatever words are spoken by the Tathagata, these two words are not different. Why is that? All words are the words of the Tathagata, all words do not go beyond Suchness. Whatever is recognized as the aspect of words, all is recognized because there is no recognition. Therefore, all words are the same because the letters are the same, because the letters are similar, because the letters are empty. The one abiding in equanimity said: Manjushri, didn't the Tathagata say that he establishes in the conventional expressions of the noble ones, and establishes in the conventional expressions of the non-noble ones? Said: Son of good family, whatever letters are used to establish the conventional expressions of the noble ones, those same letters are also used to establish the conventional expressions of the non-noble ones. Said: Manjushri, that is so. Said: Do these letters discriminate between noble and non-noble? Said: That is not so. Said: Just as these letters do not discriminate and do not make distinctions, so too the noble ones are free from all discrimination and making distinctions. They have no conventional expressions, because the noble ones recognize letters, so they do not make conventional expressions. They do not recognize as Dharma, they do not recognize as non-Dharma, they do not recognize as self, they do not recognize as other. For example, cymbals, big drums, clay drums, and conches, although sounds arise from conditions, they do not discriminate. Similarly, the noble ones, because they see all arising from conditions, they establish in conventional expressions, but they do not cling, they do not manifestly cling. Then, the Bodhisattva abiding in equanimity said this to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, the Bhagavan
