Venerable One, is there any designation for the Dharma that has been fully awakened to? He replied: Mañjuśrī, there is no designation for that Dharma. He asked: Venerable One, is that Dharma to be spoken? Is it to be narrated? Is it to be indicated? He replied: Mañjuśrī, that Dharma is not to be spoken, not to be narrated, not to be indicated. He asked: Venerable One, Is it possible to explain the Dharma that has not been spoken, not been narrated, not been indicated? Especially to speak with the mind. He replied: Mañjuśrī, do you not show the Dharma to other sentient beings and other individuals? He asked: Brahmā, is the essence of Dharma completely divided into two? He replied: It is not. He asked: Are all Dharmas not determined in the essence of Dharma? He replied: They are determined. He asked: Brahmā, if the essence of Dharma is also without two, and all Dharmas are determined in the essence of Dharma, then how can the Dharma be shown to other sentient beings and other individuals? He replied: Mañjuśrī, is there also a teaching of Dharma without two? He replied: Brahmā, if some teacher or listener is found, then there is. He asked: Mañjuśrī, has the Tathāgata not taught the Dharma? He replied: Brahmā, he has taught it, but it is not twofold. Why? Because the Tathāgata teaches the Dharma without duality and does not make it twofold. He asked: Mañjuśrī, if all Dharmas are non-dual, then how do ordinary people make the non-dual into dual? He replied: Because ordinary people grasp at self in their own continuum, they make the dual into dual, but the non-dual never becomes dual. No matter how many times it is made dual, at the end of the non-dual it is non-dual. He asked: Mañjuśrī, does the non-dual discriminate? He replied: If it discriminates, then it becomes not non-dual, and the non-dual is without discrimination. Brahmā, what is called dual is discrimination. The Tathāgata teaches the Dharma without discrimination, and that Dharma is not as it is taught. Why? Because that Dharma is without letters. He asked: Mañjuśrī, where did the Tathāgata teach the Dharma?

Said: Like without discrimination and without hearing. Said: Who are the listeners of the Tathagata's Dharma? Said: Those who are without outflows in the objects. Said: Who will know this Dharma? Said: Those who will not argue, will not know, and will not subsequently know. Said: Manjushri, how does a monk have many disputes? Said: Manjushri, how does a monk abide near the Tathagata? Said: Brahma, that monk who sees that there is neither nearness nor distance to any Dharma, that monk abides near the Tathagata. Said: Manjushri, how does a monk make offerings and reverence to the Tathagata?
