Obtaining the treasure of dharanis, obtaining samadhi, possessing unimpeded eloquence, and being skilled in guiding with wisdom, obtaining clairvoyance, intelligence, and fearlessness, vanquishing demons and adversaries, mindfulness, wisdom, contemplation, shame, modesty, and wisdom cultivated through the wisdom of learning, will become immeasurable. Furthermore, in that Buddha-field of Light-Holder, there will be no birth as women. All those bodhisattvas will be born by appearing seated in lotus postures on lotuses. Those bodhisattvas will possess the food of the joy of meditation. By mere thought, all enjoyments of food, drink, vehicles, clothing, places to walk, gardens, multi-storied houses, waterfalls, springs, lakes, ponds, and lotuses will arise. Light-Holder, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, Universally Shining Transformation, King of Rays, does not teach the Dharma with letters and definitive words. Rather, as soon as those bodhisattvas are touched by the light of that Tathagata, they will individually obtain acceptance of the Dharma of non-arising. By that light, they will become unimpeded in going to other Buddha-fields. By that light, they will be separated from afflictions, having eliminated the afflictions of sentient beings. Again, Light-Holder, from the light of that Tathagata, thirty-two sounds that thoroughly distinguish the aspects of Dharma will arise. What are the thirty-two? Since what is seen is completely pure, all dharmas are emptiness. Since they are without thought and discrimination, all dharmas are without characteristics. Since they have completely transcended the three realms, all dharmas are without aspiration. Since they are naturally pacified, all dharmas are without desire. Since they are characterized by being without aspiration, all dharmas are without hatred. Since they are without darkness and gloom, all dharmas are without delusion. Since they are unborn from the beginning, all dharmas are without coming. Since they are of an immutable nature, all dharmas are without going. Since they are utterly impermanent, all dharmas are without abiding. Past, future, and present

Because of being apart from arising in that way, all dharmas transcend the three times. Because of the oneness of nature, all dharmas are without distinction. Because of being apart from the maturation of karma, all dharmas are unborn. Because the agent is invisible, all dharmas are without karma and maturation. By way of not manifestly accumulating, all dharmas are uncreated. Because of being thoroughly separated by not manifestly accumulating, all dharmas are not manifestly accumulated. Because of being apart from birth and destruction, all dharmas are unconditioned. Because of not truly arising, all dharmas are not true. By way of simultaneously manifestly realizing, all dharmas are true. Because sentient beings are invisible, all dharmas are selfless. Because of ultimate truth, all dharmas are without person. Because of not knowing, all dharmas are inanimate. Because of no affection and anger, all dharmas are equanimous. Because of no complete grasping, all dharmas are nothing at all. Because by nature there is no complete affliction, all dharmas are without proximate affliction. Because it is the extreme of solitude, all dharmas are of one mode. Because of the perfection of solitude, all dharmas are solitary. Because of not being confused, all dharmas abide in the true extreme. Because of being utterly undifferentiated, all dharmas abide in suchness. Because of following in all ways, all dharmas are truly gathered in the realm of dharma. Because of not gathering mutually, all dharmas are without cause. Because of being completely expanded by equality, all dharmas are interdependent arising. Because of being separated by seeing as it is, all dharmas are enlightenment. By way of not being completely established, all dharmas are nirvana. Thus, Kashyapa! In order to thoroughly distinguish this mode of all dharmas, thirty-two sounds will arise from the light of the Tathagata, the King of Rays, the emanation of the Bhagavan Samantaprabha. The great elder Kashyapa submitted: Bhagavan! That ray will perform the deeds of the Buddha. The Bhagavan declared: Kashyapa! That Tathagata will become immeasurable life.
