I am. Said: What is fully known by the abiding one, please show it. Does the abiding one also generate the dharmas of the noble ones? Replied: It is not so. Said: Have you caused the individual ordinary beings to cease? Replied: It is not so. Said: Then have you obtained the dharmas of the noble ones? Replied: It is not so. Said: Then do you fully know the dharmas of the individual ordinary beings? Replied: It is not so. Said: Then what does the abiding one realize through fully knowing? Replied: The suchness of children, individual ordinary beings who do not possess hearing, is the same as the suchness of those who have just been liberated. The suchness of complete nirvana is also the same. Said: Venerable Shariputra, that suchness is the non-inverted suchness, the non-other suchness, the unchanging suchness, and the non-disturbing suchness. Venerable Shariputra, with this suchness, one should subsequently understand the suchness of all dharmas. Then, the venerable Shariputra said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, for example, all the flames of a blazing fire are close to burning. Bhagavan, similarly, all the teachings shown by these sons of good families are the showing of the dharma realm, and all the teachings are also close to burning all afflictions. The Bhagavan said: Shariputra, yes, it is so. Just as it is shown, all the teachings shown by these sons of good families are the showing of the dharma realm, and all the teachings are also close to burning all afflictions. Then, the youth Net Light said to the abiding Shariputra: Abiding Shariputra, if the Bhagavan has said that among those who possess wisdom, the most supreme, abiding Shariputra, with what wisdom did he say that the most supreme of those who possess wisdom, what is that wisdom? Replied: Net Light, whoever follows the sound of the hearers, the nature of the appearance of one's own continuum, the wisdom of those who are liberated by the wisdom of proximity, with that wisdom

Indeed, it is said that those with wisdom are the most excellent, but not the wisdom of a Bodhisattva. Asked: What is the characteristic of wisdom? Replied: It is not so. Asked: Then, is it wisdom that follows after equality? Replied: Noble son, it is just so. Asked: Venerable Shariputra, how does the wisdom that follows after equality explain wisdom as having measure? Replied: Noble son, by the cause of the realm of Dharma, wisdom is immeasurable. It is because of entering into objects as they are that it is measured. Asked: Venerable Shariputra, is wisdom immeasurable, or is it measurable? Replied: Noble son, wisdom is immeasurable. Asked: Then, how does the immeasurable show that it is measured? Then, the Venerable Shariputra became silent. Then, by the power of the Buddha, the venerable Mahakashyapa said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, why is the youth Jaliniprabha called Jaliniprabha? Then, the Bhagavan said to Jaliniprabha: Noble son, show forth the light of your own roots of virtue, which is completely purified, by which this world, including the gods, becomes joyful, and by which the mind is generated towards unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Then, the youth Jaliniprabha said to the Bhagavan: Very well. Having said this, having heard it, he draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and with his palms joined together towards the Bhagavan, from the copper-like fingernails of his right hand, a ray of light arose, and that ray of light penetrated immeasurable and boundless realms of the world, and all the immeasurable Buddha-fields of the ten directions were filled with light. That light illuminated the immeasurable and countless realms of the ten directions, and the sentient beings therein, whether they were sentient beings in the hell realms, or born in the realm of animals, or in the world of Yama, or blind, or deaf, or lame, or crippled, or diseased, or lustful, or fierce, or ignorant, or naked, or hungry, or thirsty, or bound, or captured, or poor, or emaciated, or old.

All those who are subject to death, or are miserly, or have harmful thoughts, or have bad character, or are deceitful, or have lost their memory, or have immoral wisdom, or are unbelieving, or have little learning, or have little merit, or are shameless, or are without modesty, or have rigid views, all of them, as soon as they are touched by that light, become endowed with all happiness. No sentient being is fearful, oppressed by desire, hatred, ignorance, pride, concealment, jealousy, and anger. All sentient beings become joyful and happy. All those assemblies of Bodhisattvas, or assemblies of Hearers, or gods, or nagas, or yakshas, or gandharvas, or asuras, or garudas, or kinnaras, or mahoragas, or humans and non-humans, or monks, or nuns, or laymen, or laywomen, in the presence of the Buddha, all appear as one color, like the color of gold. All appear as one color, like the color, marks, and form of the Tathagata. All do not appear to have a crown on their heads, but appear as the form of a supreme body. All are seated on lotus seats and covered with nets of jewels. All of them appear as one nature, like the nature of seeing the Buddha. All of them appear as one color, like a Bodhisattva who has attained the samadhi of joyful arrangement, such happiness arises. Then, all those assemblies become amazed and without distinction from each other, they do not think of the teacher as superior, nor do they think of themselves as inferior. As soon as those lights are emitted, four Bodhisattvas appear from below. Who are the four? They are the Bodhisattva Mahasattva named Wish-Fulfilling Excellent, and Excellent Good, and Wisdom Moon, and the Bodhisattva Mahasattva named Invincible Banner. They join their palms and think, 'To which Tathagata should we pay homage?' Then they prostrate and sit down, and
