Like a person intoxicated by alcohol swaying, swaying greatly, swaying completely, all those trees and all the mountains also bend greatly, bend completely. Second fascicle. Immediately after the King of the Kimnaras, Dongpo, took out the hollow lute made of beryl, then, from among those gathered in the mandala of the Blessed One's retinue, except for the irreversible Bodhisattvas, the monks who were free from desire, the nuns, the laymen, the laywomen, the gods, the nagas, the yakshas, the gandharvas, the asuras, the garudas, the kimnaras, the mahoragas, Indra, Brahma, the guardians of the world, humans, non-humans, and the arhats who meditated on the eight liberations, the entire retinue, upon hearing the sound of the lute, unable to bear the sound of the lute, rose from their respective seats and trembled. They trembled greatly, they trembled completely. They bent greatly, they bent completely. They danced greatly, they danced completely. All those great Shravakas were also displeased with their own seats. They moved, they moved greatly, and their conduct was also disturbed, appearing as if they were dancing like small children. Then the Bodhisattva Heavenly Crown said this to all those great Shravakas: "Venerable great Shravakas, you are free from afflictions, meditating on the eight liberations, having seen the four truths. Why can you not control your own bodies? Venerable ones, you appear to be dancing like small children." Those great Shravakas said: "Son of good family, when the King of the Kimnaras, Dongpo, took out this lute, and combined it with cymbals and songs, the sound of the lute made us unable to control ourselves, our bodies, each of us."
