If possessed, they are adorned with the adornment of meditation. What are the four? They are those who are not arrogant, those who are not complacent, those who do not speak nonsense, and those who do not abandon the mind of awareness. Son of the lineage, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, they are adorned with the adornment of meditation. Son of the lineage, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, they are adorned with the adornment of wisdom. What are the four? For example, those who do not speak of self, sentient beings, life, nourishment, person, or individual, those who are not attached to pride, those who are skilled in understanding the detailed distinctions of all words, and those who have no hesitation or doubt about all dharmas. Son of the lineage, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, they are adorned with the adornment of wisdom. Son of the lineage, if a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they are skilled in the path of Brahma. What are the four? For example, loving-kindness that is diligently cultivated to be a companion to all sentient beings, great compassion that is diligently cultivated to fully mature all sentient beings, joy that is diligently cultivated with joy in all dharmas, and equanimity that is diligently cultivated for the wisdom of the Tathagata. Son of the lineage, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, they are skilled in the path of Brahma. Son of the lineage, if a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they are those who do not decline from supernormal knowledge. What are the four? For example, having the wisdom of gathering the four meditations, knowing the means of cultivating the four formless absorptions, knowing the dharma of controlling one's own mind, and going to limitless Buddha fields to behold the Buddhas. Son of the lineage, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, they are those who do not decline from supernormal knowledge. 非是烦恼的力量。种姓之子，菩萨具有这四法，即是战场上彻底获胜者。种姓之子，菩萨具有四法，即是超越而安住于彼岸之地者。何为四？即是，对于欲之河流也善为了知，然亦不现前行持离欲；对于有之河流也善为了知，然亦思择而受生；对于见之河流也善为了知，然亦不舍弃为见之束缚所缚者；对于无明之河流也善为了知，然亦随顺依缘而生。种姓之子，菩萨具有此四法，即是超越而安住于彼岸之地者。种姓之子，菩萨具有四法，即是亦能示现声闻和独觉一切，以及一切有情的行持，然亦不分别思择平等行持者。何为四？即是，如幻三摩地极善圆满修习，以及诸法一切由修习所成，于个别近住之体性中极善观察，以及具足了知以五神通而游舞，以及于圆满修习意生身而善巧。种姓之子，菩萨具有此四法，即是亦能示现声闻和一切独觉，以及一切有情的行持，然亦不分别思择平等行持者。种姓之子，菩萨具有四法，即是亦能观轮回，然亦不住于涅槃者。何为四？即是，佛之加持，以及大悲之心，以及善巧方便，以及不舍弃往昔之本尊。种姓之子，菩萨具有此四法，即是亦能观轮回，然亦不住于涅槃者。种姓之子，菩萨具有四法，即是亦能观种种界，然亦不摇动于法界者。何为四？即是，有情无自性故，了知法无自性，以及法无自性故，了知有情无自性，以及

Not the power of afflictions. Son of lineage, bodhisattvas who possess these four qualities are those who completely triumph over the battlefield. Son of lineage, bodhisattvas who possess four qualities are those who cross over and abide on the other shore. What are the four? They are: knowing well the river of desire, yet not manifestly engaging in detachment; knowing well the river of existence, yet deliberately taking rebirth; knowing well the river of views, yet not abandoning those bound by the fetters of views; knowing well the river of ignorance, yet acting in accordance with dependent origination. Son of lineage, bodhisattvas who possess these four qualities are those who cross over and abide on the other shore. Son of lineage, bodhisattvas who possess four qualities are those who demonstrate the conduct of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, as well as all sentient beings, yet do not conceptually discriminate equal conduct. What are the four? They are: having thoroughly perfected the illusion-like samadhi; having thoroughly investigated the nature of individual abiding through the complete accomplishment of all dharmas; possessing the knowledge of disporting through the five superknowledges; and being skilled in the complete accomplishment of the mind-made body. Son of lineage, bodhisattvas who possess these four qualities are those who demonstrate the conduct of all Shravakas and all Pratyekabuddhas, as well as all sentient beings, yet do not conceptually discriminate equal conduct. Son of lineage, bodhisattvas who possess four qualities are those who observe samsara, yet do not abide in nirvana. What are the four? They are: the blessings of the Buddha, the mind of great compassion, skillful means, and not abandoning the previous yidam. Son of lineage, bodhisattvas who possess these four qualities are those who observe samsara, yet do not abide in nirvana. Son of lineage, bodhisattvas who possess four qualities are those who observe various realms, yet do not waver from the dharmadhatu. What are the four? They are: realizing that beings are without inherent existence, therefore dharmas are without inherent existence; and realizing that dharmas are without inherent existence, therefore beings are without inherent existence; and
