No! This samadhi is not the object of perception of the six consciousnesses of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. It is not the characteristic of arising, not the characteristic of ceasing, not the characteristic of abiding, not the characteristic of permanence or cessation, not one characteristic, not different characteristics, not a characteristic, not devoid of characteristics, and also not without characteristics, it is not to be spoken of. This samadhi cannot be fully realized, it is not universally realized, nor is it distinctly realized. Why is that? If this samadhi were fully realized, or universally realized, or distinctly realized, then it would become an object of investigation, and not samadhi. Son of good family, what is called samadhi is the equality of all dharmas. Whatever is the equality of all dharmas, that is equal to me. That is also equal to all sentient beings. Son of good family, therefore this samadhi and all sentient beings are equal. Why is that? All sentient beings are emptiness, and the characteristic of emptiness is this samadhi. All sentient beings are without characteristics, and the characteristic of having no characteristics is this samadhi. All sentient beings are without aspiration, and the characteristic of having no aspiration is this samadhi. All sentient beings are solitary, and the characteristic of solitude is this samadhi. All sentient beings are without self, and the characteristic of being without self is this samadhi. That cannot be touched by body, speech, or mind. Whoever touches the Dharma, or makes it equal, or makes it manifestly equal, all those are shown to be arrogant in the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya. Then, the Bodhisattva Heavenly Crown addressed the Blessed One thus: Blessed One, the conduct of the Kinnara King Tree is so careful, and his confidence in the Dharma is so great, it is wonderful! The Blessed One said: Son of good family, this, that all actions are fully shown, yet one is not stained by all actions, is the realm of the Bodhisattvas who have arisen from skillful means and wisdom. Son of good family, the Kinnara King Tree
