Then Nā said to the venerable Mahākāśyapa, "Venerable Mahākāśyapa, even with a woman's body, one will not fail to manifestly and completely awaken to unsurpassed and perfect complete enlightenment, and even having entered into the superior intention, there is no difficulty in accomplishing enlightenment. The enlightenment of a bodhisattva depends on generating the mind [of enlightenment]. As soon as the mind is generated for enlightenment, all the Buddha's teachings will be upheld." "Venerable, what you said, that a woman's body is not capable of manifestly and completely awakening to unsurpassed and perfect complete enlightenment, even a man's body is not capable of manifestly and completely awakening. Why is that? The Thus-Gone One has said, 'The eye is neither male nor female.' Likewise, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are neither female nor male. Venerable Mahākāśyapa, why is that? The eye is empty; because it is empty, there is neither female nor male. Venerable Mahākāśyapa, likewise, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are empty; because it is empty, there is neither female nor male. Venerable, that which is comprehending the eye is enlightenment. That which is comprehending the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind is enlightenment. In enlightenment, there are neither female qualities nor male qualities. Venerable Mahākāśyapa, therefore, that which is the nature of enlightenment is also my nature." (Mahākāśyapa) said, "Daughter, are you enlightenment?" (Nā) said, "Venerable, both you and I are enlightenment." (Mahākāśyapa) said, "Daughter, I am not enlightenment; I am a śrāvaka." (Nā) said, "Venerable Mahākāśyapa, by whom were you tamed?" (Mahākāśyapa) said, "Daughter, I was tamed by the Thus-Gone One." (Nā) said, "Venerable, if you were tamed by the Thus-Gone One, then if the Thus-Gone One had not manifestly and completely awakened, then the Thus-Gone One...

If so, does the elder practice taming? The daughter said: No. Said: Venerable Mahakashyapa, since this is the case, you are also Bodhi, there is no Dharma that is not Bodhi. Said: Daughter, are the five heinous crimes also Bodhi? Said: Venerable, it is so, the five heinous crimes are also Bodhi. What is the reason for this? Bodhi is of the nature of uninterruptedness, the emptiness nature of the Dharma of uninterruptedness is Bodhi, and the nature of the Dharma of emptiness is the reason for Bodhi. Venerable, in this way, Bodhi arises from understanding the five heinous crimes. Venerable, there is nothing that is not Bodhi, if it does not correspond to some Dharmas, it is not, and that which corresponds to the equality of all Dharmas is Bodhi. Said: Daughter, who gave you this eloquence? Said: The elder bestowed it. What is the reason for this? If the elder did not speak, my eloquence would not arise. Venerable, just as if one does not speak, the sound of a valley echo will not arise, so too, Venerable Mahakashyapa Bodhisattvas, eloquence will not arise until they are asked. Said: Daughter, how many Tathagatas have you served? Said: As many as the number of afflictions the elder has abandoned. Said: Daughter, my afflictions have not been abandoned. Said: Venerable, are you with afflictions? Said: I am neither with afflictions, nor have I abandoned afflictions. Said: Then Venerable, have you abandoned afflictions? Said: There is neither arising, nor cessation, nor abandonment, but knowing suchness as it is. Said: Is suchness something to be known? Said: No. Said: Then why is it said that suchness is known as it is, and afflictions are also known? If one knows, it is not suchness. If one does not know, then the Venerable is the same as all ignorant ordinary people.

So. Said: Daughter, all your words are to refute others' words. Said: I neither refute words, nor establish words. What is the reason for that? Because the realm of Dharma is irrefutable, and all words are for the sake of completely merging into the realm of Dharma. Said: You put me together with all ordinary people, won't you regret it? Said: Venerable Mahakashyapa, if I regarded the Arhats as different and all ordinary people as different, then I would regret it. Because I did not regard the Arhats as different from all ordinary people, therefore I will not regret it. Venerable, the so-called "same" refers to the supreme words of all dharmas being without difference and being the same as space. Said: Daughter, are you the same as ordinary people or the same as noble ones? Said: Venerable, I am neither the same as ordinary people nor the same as noble ones. What is the reason for that? If I were the same as ordinary people, then my Bodhisattva conduct would be meaningless. If I were the same as noble ones, then I would be the same as the Shravakas, and in that case, I would completely degenerate from the Buddhadharmas. Said: Daughter, if you are neither the same as ordinary people nor the same as noble ones, then are you the same as the Buddhadharmas? Said: Venerable Mahakashyapa, am I only now the same as the Buddhadharmas? What is the reason for that? From the beginning, I have been the same as the Buddhadharmas. Said: Daughter, if you are the same as the Buddhadharmas, then are those Buddhadharmas in you? Said: Venerable, are those considered as Buddhadharmas past? Future? Present? Existing in a place? Existing in a direction? Are they blue? Yellow? Red? White? Are they madder-colored? The color of crystal? Or the color of silver? Said:
