Praises in Verse: In the ten directions, sentient beings' realms are boundless and limitless! In an instant, a moment, a brief while, they make offerings to the Buddhas. In the ten directions, sentient beings who, even for hundreds of thousands of eons, diligently strive in offerings, benefit and aid those sentient beings. The offerings that arise from the nature of loving-kindness, merit, and excellence, how can they be compared to you? Only you are worthy of them. What is it that arises from the limbs with an unparalleled mind? It is the offering and remembrance for those who possess the ten powers. I think that I will touch enlightenment, but from the place of obscurations, I have entered into the unwavering, incomparable enlightenment. Like a king among men, no one in the three realms has power over me. What kind of power is my intention? It is the power of the one with the ten powers. I am exceedingly loving to all, dispelling pride and arrogance, endowed with generosity and gentleness, possessing morality and patience. Dwelling in diligence, mindfulness, concentration, and pure wisdom, possessing loving-kindness and compassion, may I practice the true Dharma. Even if the Buddhas who wish for benefit do not give me a prophecy, I, the king of men, will give a prophecy to myself. I am self-born and unchanging, without doubt or hesitation. Thus, with a firm intention, I am certain of enlightenment. The king smiled and asked, "Moon Crown, what is the reason for this? What is this self-born smile? Please, Lord, explain!" "Because I show the pure light, Moon Crown, listen carefully," the Teacher said to him. "The great Asura Rahula has entered the supreme enlightenment. The thirty-two thousand attendants are also the same. Having practiced the conduct of enlightenment for hundreds of thousands of eons, all will follow him and attain the chief enlightenment." Having made offerings to Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and then having established countless sentient beings in enlightenment, In the auspicious and beautiful eon after that, he will attain enlightenment, free from dust, peaceful, and without sorrow. This great Rahula will become the king of Dharma, possessing the power of diligence, and will be called the "Banner of the Lord of Power." In that world,

I am called the Arrangement that Generates Joy, as prosperous and flourishing as the Tushita heaven, and the years are also good. The lifespan of the one with the ten powers is seventy billion years, and the sangha of noble monks will be sixty kotis of krakriks. The sangha of bodhisattvas is one hundred and eighty kotis of krakriks, and they are very steadfast in hearing, holding the Vinaya, and dharanis. In those beautiful kalpas called Auspicious Arrangement, hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, having performed the arrangement of enlightenment, all of these will gradually attain supreme enlightenment. Behold the special qualities of the supreme bodhicitta. There, having heard the prophecy of the Good Star Wheel-Turning King, four hundred thousand beings entered supreme enlightenment. By the special intention of those who possess excellent qualities, the three thousand worlds shook, and the gods rained down a great shower of flowers. Then, the Naga King Anavatapta said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, since all dharmas are without self and without a maker, what is prophecy? What is the Tathagata? What is the attainment of perfect and complete enlightenment? The Bhagavan replied: Naga King, it is as you say, all dharmas are without self and without a maker, that is the nature of dharmas. However, childish ordinary beings, endowed with perverted views, abiding in self-grasping and grasping at what is mine, generate the thought of sentient beings in what is without sentient beings. Therefore, bodhisattvas generate great compassion, and in order to make them abandon perverted views, and in order to fully understand self-grasping and grasping at what is mine, they merely don the armor of enlightenment. Those supreme individuals do not not know the emptiness of sentient beings and persons, but they liberate those sentient beings who cling to self, sentient beings, life, nourishment, individuals, and persons. Naga King, what you say, "Having prophesied to so-and-so, he departed," that refers to prophesying to those who manifestly realize the Dharma. Without sentient beings, without life, without nourishment, without a person,

In that which is non-existent, to have the mind that is certain of the mind is a prophecy. To abide in that which is unborn, uncreated, rootless, and without location is a prophecy. To have faith in the selflessness of all sentient beings as equal is a prophecy. To see all dharmas as equal and dharmically secluded is a prophecy. To have a mind that is pure and stainless like the sky, with all fields equal as fields, is a prophecy. To see the wisdom that all dharmas are inseparable from the Buddha's dharma and the realm of dharma is a prophecy. To be equal to all demons and not be defiled by the afflictions of demons, but to have a mind that is naturally completely pure, is a prophecy. To not conceptualize emptiness and signlessness, and to neither accept nor reject non-conceptualization, is a prophecy. O Lord of the Nagas, just as the prophecy of the non-abiding of mind, intellect, and consciousness is, so too are all dharmas like that, without an object of focus. Just as all dharmas are in their equality, understanding is enlightenment, but in ultimate reality, who is prophesying? What is enlightenment? What is to be prophesied? Who is prophesying? With what is one prophesying? Nothing is perceived. O Lord of the Nagas, why is that? All dharmas are without substance, because the roots are completely severed. All dharmas are without an owner, because they arise from causes and conditions. All dharmas are ungraspable, because they are characterized by the absence of inherent existence. All dharmas are without inherent existence, because they are characterized by non-separation. All dharmas are in the future, because they do not move from the prior limit. All dharmas are destroyed, because they do not arise at the later limit. All dharmas are non-abiding, because no place is seen. All dharmas are invisible, because there is no agent. All dharmas are without an agent, because they are without a body. All dharmas are without a body, because they are without a place. All dharmas are without a place, because they are without support. All dharmas are without support, because they are unmoving.
