将获得眷属。龙王，如果具备三种法，菩萨们将获得安住于适宜之处，哪三种呢？即：具有不粗暴且无谄诳之心，消除嫉妒与吝啬，乐于随喜他人之利养、恭敬与安乐。龙王，如果具备这三种法，菩萨们将获得安住于适宜之处。龙王，如果具备五种法，菩萨们将具有信心，哪五种呢？即：信解之力，福德资粮之力，趣入业之异熟之力，不舍菩提心之力，依于法性之力。龙王，如果具备这五种法，菩萨们将具有信心。龙王，如果具备两种法，将更增欢喜，哪两种呢？即：因的力量，如理作意之力。龙王，如果具备这两种法，菩萨们将更增欢喜。龙王，如果具备三种法，菩萨们将信赖业之异熟，哪三种呢？即：信解无我，忍辱之力，于正业善加精进。龙王，如果具备这三种法，菩萨们将信赖业之异熟。龙王，如果具备两种法，菩萨们将舍弃一切不善法，而被一切善法所充满，哪两种呢？即：具有三蕴之圆满回向，安住于谨慎。此为二者。另有二者，即：成为善之自性，不希求异熟。龙王，如果具备这两种法，菩萨们将舍弃一切不善法，而被一切善法所充满。龙王，如果具备五种法，菩萨们将为法而精进，哪五种呢？即：色（蕴）

One will obtain relatives. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses three qualities, Bodhisattvas will obtain a place to dwell in that is suitable. What are the three? They are: possessing a mind that is not coarse and without deceit, eliminating jealousy and miserliness, and rejoicing in associating with the gains, respect, and happiness of others. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses these three qualities, Bodhisattvas will obtain a place to dwell in that is suitable. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses five qualities, Bodhisattvas will possess faith. What are the five? They are: the power of faith, the power of the accumulation of merit, the power of entering into the maturation of karma, the power of not abandoning the mind of enlightenment, and the power of relying on the nature of reality. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses these five qualities, Bodhisattvas will possess faith. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses two qualities, one will have a greater share of joy. What are the two? They are: the power of cause and the power of proper application. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses these two qualities, Bodhisattvas will have a greater share of joy. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses three qualities, Bodhisattvas will rely on the maturation of karma. What are the three? They are: having faith in selflessness, the power of patience, and diligently striving in virtuous actions. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses these three qualities, Bodhisattvas will rely on the maturation of karma. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses two qualities, Bodhisattvas will abandon all non-virtuous qualities and be filled with all virtuous qualities. What are the two? They are: possessing the complete dedication of the three aggregates and abiding in mindfulness. These are the two. There are also two others: becoming the nature of virtue and not expecting maturation. O Lord of Nagas, if one possesses these two qualities, Bodhisattvas will abandon all non-virtuous qualities and be filled with all virtuous qualities. They are as follows: Seeking the meaning of Dharma but not seeking the body; seeking qualities but not seeking life; seeking wisdom but not seeking touch; seeking virtue but not seeking feelings; seeking to completely protect sentient beings but not seeking one's own happiness. O Lord of the Nagas, if Bodhisattvas possess these five qualities, they are those who seek the meaning of Dharma. They are as follows: Desiring the qualities of renunciation, but not merely desiring to hold the signs of colored robes; desiring to listen to Dharma, but not desiring to listen to the secret languages of worldly gossip; desiring to teach Dharma, but not desiring worldly possessions; desiring to individually contemplate Dharma, but not desiring to improperly direct the mind; desiring to practice Dharma, but not desiring to completely seek letters, definitions, and terms; desiring to listen to the Dharma of the Buddhas, but not desiring to listen to the Dharma of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. O Lord of the Nagas, if Bodhisattvas possess these six qualities, they are those who desire Dharma. O Lord of the Nagas, if Bodhisattvas possess eight qualities, Bodhisattvas rejoice with the joy of delighting in the joy of Dharma. What are the eight?
