།དེ་ནས་དེ་ལྟར་འདུས་པའི་འཁོར་དེའི་ནང་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དེ་ལྟར་བཞུགས་པའི་སྟེང་གི་བར་སྣང་ལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་གདུགས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་འོད་དང་ལྡན་ཞིང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་ལེགས་པར་བརྒྱན་པ་ཞིག་བྱུང་སྟེ། ཙན་དན་དུས་ཀྱི་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲང་བའི་ཕྱེ་མ་དག་གི་ཆར་ཡང་བབ་བོ། །དེ་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་མཐུས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་སྟན་ལས་ལངས་ནས་བླ་གོས་ཕྲག་པ་གཅིག་ཏུ་གཟར་ཏེ་པུས་མོ་གཡས་པའི་ལྷ་ང་ས་ལ་བཙུགས་ནས། །འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་སྐྱེས་འཇིག་རྟེན་དྲི་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མ་གོས་པད་མ་ཆུས་མི་ཆགས་པ་བཞིན། །འཇིག་རྟེན་སྣང་བ་རྣམ་པར་གཟིགས་པ་སྤྱན་གསུམ་མངའ་བ་འཇིག་རྟེན་བདེ་བ་སྦྱིན་མཛད་པ། །འཇིག་རྟེན་ཉི་མ་རྐྱེན་ལ་མཁས་པ་འཇིག་རྟེན་གཙོ་བོ་ཁྱོད་ལ་དེ་རིང་བདག་ཕྱག་འཚལ། །དུལ་ཞིང་དུལ་བས་ཡོངས་བསྐོར་སྟོབས་བཅུ་མངའ་བ་སྦྱིན་པ་རྣམས་དང་དུལ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འཕགས། །འདྲེན་པ་ཉོན་མོངས་རྡུལ་དང་མུན་པ་དང་ནི་དྲི་མ་ཐ་བ་བསྲེགས་ཤིང་མྱུ་གུ་བསྲེགས། །སྙིང་རྗེས་ནོར་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་བདུན་པོ་སྦྱིན་པར་མཛད་ཅིང་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་བྱམས་པས་འཕགས། །བསོད་ནམས་ཞིང་སྟེ་འཇིག་རྟེན་རྩ་ལག་བརྟན་པོ་ཁྱོད་ལ་བདག་ནི་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཞལ་གྱི་སྨིན་མཚམས་མཛོད་སྤུ་འབར་བ་མེ་ཏོག་ཀུན་ད་ཟླ་བ་དུང་མདོག་འདྲ། །འདི་ན་ཚངས་པའི་གནས་ན་འཁོད་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྤྱི་གཙུག་མཐོང་མི་འགྱུར། །ཟླ་བ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཞལ་ནས་བྱུང་བའི་རྨད་བྱུང་འོད་ཀྱིས་འགྲོ་བ་མ་ལུས་སྣང་བར་མཛད། །དེ་ཡིས་རེག་པར་གྱུར་པའི་དབང་གིས་མཚམས་མེད་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱང་བདེ་བ་ཉིད་དུ་གྱུར། །ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་གསུང་ནི་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཡིད་འོང་ཚིག་སྟེ་ཟླ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་ཡིད་ཀྱང་ཚིམ་པར་བགྱིད། །ལྷ་དང་མི་ཡི་སྒྲ་སྐད་ཟིལ་གྱིས་གནོན་ཅིང་གཅིག་ཏུ་ངེས་པར་དག་ལ་གཙང་བ་སྟེ། །འདོད་ཆགས་ཞེ་སྡང་མུན་པ་རྡུལ་རྣམས་རབ་ཏུ་ཞི་བར་བགྱིད་ཅིང་ཤེས་རབ་གསལ་བར་བགྱིད། །དགའ་དང་མགུ་བགྱིད་བདེ་བ་ཤིན་ཏུ་སྐྱེད་ པར་བགྱིད་ཅིང་ཐར་པ་ཡང་དག་སྟོན་པ་ལགས། །ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་དུས་གསུམ་གཏོགས་པ་ཐོགས་པ་མ་མཆིས་གར་ཡང་ཆགས་པ་མ་མཆིས་ཏེ། །ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སྤྱོད་པ་ཆུང་དང་འབྲིང་དང་དམ་པ་མ་ལུས་ཐུགས་སུ་ཆུད། Then, the Bhagavan, surrounded and faced by many thousands of retinues, taught the Dharma, and like the King of Mountains, Mount Meru, rising upright from the ocean, he sat on a lion throne well-adorned with all the splendor of the gods, the Bhagavan subdued the world, including the gods, and surrounded by the assembly of monks, he dwelt radiantly, orderly, and brilliantly. Then, in the midst of that assembled retinue, in the space above where the Tathagata was thus dwelling, there appeared a jeweled umbrella, possessing the light of all jewels and well-adorned with all jewels, and that jeweled umbrella covered this entire world of the great four continents, possessing all things. From that jeweled umbrella, there also appeared hundreds of thousands of garlands of various colored pearls, such as: white pearls, red pearls, immaculate pearls, gold-like pearls, moon-like pearls, lotus-like pearls, and pearls with colors like the sky, hanging down. From those pearl garlands, rays of light also appeared. From those rays of light, there also manifestly fell a rain of flowers of various colors, hundreds of thousands of colors, fragrant, beautiful to behold, and pleasing to the mind. Those flowers also filled all the courtyards of the retinue to the depth of their knees.

Then, by the power of the Buddha, the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and with his palms joined, bowed towards the Blessed One and said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, whose omen is this unprecedented and unheard-of miracle?" After he had asked this, the Blessed One said to the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana: "Maudgalyāyana, this is the omen of the dragon king Ocean coming to visit the Tathāgata." Then, not long after the Blessed One had spoken these words, the dragon king Ocean, surrounded and escorted by eighty-four kotis of dragons and seventy-two kotis of dragon daughters, came to where the Blessed One was, and bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One. He offered flowers, incense, perfumes, garlands, ointments, and so on, as well as umbrellas, banners, flags, and so on, and cymbals, drums, and hundreds of thousands of songs to the Blessed One. The wondrous light that emanates from your moon-like face illuminates all beings. By the power of its touch, even sentient beings in the Avici hell are transformed into bliss. Your speech is exceedingly pleasing words, like the moon, it satisfies the mind. It subdues the voices of gods and humans, and is uniquely pure and clean. It pacifies lust, hatred, darkness, and dust, and illuminates wisdom. It brings joy and delight, greatly increases happiness, and is the true revealer of liberation. Your wisdom encompasses the three times, is unobstructed, and unattached to anything. You comprehend all the small, medium, and great actions of sentient beings. Whatever differences there may be in the faculties, thoughts, destinations, and liberations of beings, You comprehend them all in an instant, therefore I prostrate to you. At the foot of the king of complete enlightenment trees, hundreds of millions of demons strive to find fault. Even when they come before you, you do not move from your place, you possess a mind full of compassion. Possessor, you defeat them with truth, asceticism, splendor, virtues, and love. Therefore, who among people today can be content with you for the sake of offering to you? Possessor, you understand that all phenomena are without a maker, like illusions, like the moon, Like bubbles, lightning, clouds, bubbles in water, like magic, like mirages. For whatever has no cause and does not arise from conceptualization, you know that those phenomena are always without self. Thus, you generate the five desires of beings, possessor, you are worthy of being liberation. For whose sake, for countless eons
