The Bodhisattva has completely transcended the realm of Mara. This is the Dharma gate of completely transcending the realm of Mara. The Bodhisattva Jewel Glory said: The mind's clinging is the realm of Mara. If one does not cling to any Dharma, what can Mara do? It is attained without a basis. It is not attained by dependence, and it transcends time. This is the Dharma gate called the Bodhisattva's complete transcendence of the realm of Mara. The Bodhisattva Jewel-in-Hand said: For those who cling completely, Mara finds an opportunity. One who does not cling to any Dharma does not contend with anyone. Because it is one and non-dual, it does not dwell with my mind, let alone dwell with Mara. The non-dwelling Bodhisattva completely transcends the realm of Mara. The Bodhisattva Jewel Supreme said: That which falls is a call. Mara will find an opportunity in that which is called. That which does not fall does not allow the consciousness that follows after signs to enter. The Bodhisattva who dwells completely on the edge of signlessness completely transcends the realm of Mara. The Bodhisattva Jewel Mind said: The Bhagavan also said that afflictions are like reflections and cataracts. For that which is like reflections and cataracts, there is no moving, and no not moving, no coming, and no going, neither inside nor outside. If one knows that one does not dwell in objects and does not dwell in directions, then one does not dwell with all afflictions. Because one does not conceptualize, one does not arouse afflictions. Because one does not conceptualize, one does not stop afflictions. Thus, the Bodhisattva who does not conceptualize and has abandoned all conceptualizations completely transcends the realm of Mara. The Bodhisattva Jewel Source said: That which is joyful is latent. That which is not joyful is anger. That which is neither joyful nor not joyful will not be attached, nor will it be hateful. That which is without attachment and without hatred is said to abide in equanimity.

Oṃ. One who abides in equality does not differentiate any dharma. One who abides in non-differentiation does not think of equality and inequality. The devil cannot find an opportunity to obtain the inconceivable dharma. The Bodhisattva Jewel Bestower said: The works of the devil arise from my arising from everything. What can the devil do to me who abides in complete purity? Why is that? Because I am completely pure, the afflictions are completely pure. Because the afflictions are completely pure, all dharmas are completely pure. What is the complete purity of all dharmas? It is the complete purity of the sky. A Bodhisattva who abides in the complete purity of the sky completely transcends the realm of the devil. The Bodhisattva Dharma King said: Just as a king who has received the empowerment, possesses power and many retinues, and is not afraid of anyone, so too, a Bodhisattva who has received the empowerment and possesses a retinue of precious dharma is not afraid of all devils. That empowerment is the complete perfection of all the Buddha's ultimate dharmas. The retinue of precious dharma is that which holds the dharmas spoken by the Buddhas of the ten directions. A Bodhisattva who abides in such a state is called one who has completely transcended all the realms of the devil. This is called the dharma gate of completely transcending the realm of the devil. The Bodhisattva Mountain Rock King said: It is like this, for example, just as wind enters a hole, so too, wherever there is a hole in the mind, the devil finds an opportunity. Therefore, a Bodhisattva should always make the mind without holes. That mind without holes is like this: the complete perfection of emptiness that possesses all kinds of excellence. This is the dharma light gate of the Bodhisattva completely transcending the realm of the devil. The Bodhisattva Seeing Joy said: Among whatever small things are seen, seeing the Buddha and the dharma is said to be the best of them. That seeing the Buddha is not seeing form, not seeing feeling, not seeing perception, not seeing formations, and not seeing consciousness. What is not seeing all dharmas? It is also
