Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard. At one time, the Bhagavan was in the realm of the Tathāgata, in the courtyard adorned with jewels, the abode of the Tathāgata. He had accumulated the assembly with the adornment of great merit, corresponded to the cause of great conduct, manifestly accomplished by the complete maturation of all the Buddha's dharmas, definitely showing the boundless abode of the Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas, the blessings of the Tathāgata's various emanations, entering into the wisdom of the non-attachment realm, generating great joy, entering into mindfulness, intelligence, and realization, not disparaging anything, discriminating with wisdom, entering into its non-self-nature, manifestly praising in the kalpa of the future limit, abiding in the immeasurable collection of all qualities. The Bhagavan completely awakened to the equality of all dharmas, the wheel of Dharma was turned, he possessed an assembly of extremely tamed and infinite disciples, he had attained mastery over all dharmas, he perfectly knew the thoughts of all sentient beings, he had gone beyond the supreme faculties, he was skilled in completely destroying the connection of the afflictive habitual tendencies of all sentient beings, and the deeds of the Buddha were spontaneously accomplished without interruption. Together with a great monastic community of six million monks, all of whom possessed intelligent minds, their minds were completely liberated by true knowledge, striving to completely destroy the connection of the habitual tendencies of all afflictions, the sons of the Tathāgata, the Dharma King, were skilled in abiding in the profound Dharma, definitely arising from the signless Dharma, their conduct was beautiful and perfect, they had become great places of generosity, and all were deeply engaged in the teachings of the Tathāgata.

The Bodhisattva Mahasattvas gathered from various Buddha-fields, immeasurable, countless, inconceivable, unequaled, unmeasurable, limitless, inexpressible, and again inexpressible, a great assembly of Bodhisattvas, and also a means: all are skilled in going to the boundless Buddha-fields in an instant of thought, skilled in making offerings to all Tathagatas and performing service, seeking the Dharma without satiety, constantly and continuously striving to fully ripen all sentient beings, having attained the supreme perfections of means and wisdom, dwelling in unobstructed liberation, having completely transcended all discriminations, various discriminations, and elaborations, having become close to the wisdom of omniscience, all just like this, namely: the Bodhisattva called Lightning God, the Bodhisattva called Victorious in Battle, the Bodhisattva called Samantabhadra-garbha, the Bodhisattva called Subduing Hero, the Bodhisattva called Destroyer of Doubt, the Bodhisattva called Possessing Proclamation, the Bodhisattva called Eye of Observation, the Bodhisattva called Free from Darkness, and so forth, immeasurable, limitless, countless, inconceivable, unequaled, unmeasurable, countless, inexpressible, and again inexpressible Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and also a means. Then, the Bhagavan taught the Dharma category called "The Great Assembly Chapter" to the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. When this Dharma category of "The Great Assembly Chapter" was taught, the retinue endowed with all thought: "I am dwelling in the center of the sky, in a multi-storied building with great splendor." The splendor of those multi-storied buildings appeared before the eyes of sentient beings, except for the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas dwelling in the multi-storied buildings, the great Shravakas, and also the retinues of gods, nagas, yakshas, and gandharvas, all...

In the great trichiliocosm, all appearances of form vanished, and everything became like the sky, it should be understood. For example, when an eon is completely burned and becomes like the sky, no appearance of form will appear before the eyes in the great trichiliocosm, similarly, at that time all appearances of form will not appear before the eyes of sentient beings. For example, in the world called "Tathāgata Jewel Arrangement," the pavilions enjoyed by those bodhisattvas will appear. Except for the pavilions existing in the sky, everything between the ground and the foundation of this great trichiliocosm is completely invisible, it should be clearly known that Mount Sumeru, the surrounding mountains, and the great surrounding mountains will not appear before the eyes of any sentient beings. Towns, cities, villages, regions, countries, and the retinues of the king's palace also do not appear, only the pavilions existing in the middle of the sky can be seen. The lion throne of the Bhagavan appears very tall in height, rising to a hundred thousand yojanas. The light of the lion throne on which the Bhagavan sits also pervades the great trichiliocosm with great light, making the light of the sun, moon, stars, Indra, Brahma, and the guardians of the world in that great trichiliocosm all dim. Then, all the bodhisattva retinues saw this wonderful and rare miracle and said to each other: The arrangement of this pavilion is so wonderful that even if our lifespan were to last for an eon, it would not be easy for us to describe it in detail, the merits and arrangement of these pavilions are immeasurable. Then, the Bhagavan's
