etc. Furthermore, the root of virtue is the soles of the feet touching the ground evenly. Merit is the adornment of excellent marks and signs. Wisdom is the invisible crown of the head. Furthermore, the root of virtue is the adornment of the Buddha-field. Merit is enjoying food and drink according to one's mind. Wisdom is being born as a sentient being with sharp faculties. Furthermore, the root of virtue is hearing about the activities of demons. Merit is knowing the activities of demons. Wisdom is completely transcending the activities of demons. Furthermore, the root of virtue is great compassion. Merit is skillful means. Wisdom is the Prajñāpāramitā. Furthermore, the root of virtue is the adornment of the essence of Bodhi. Merit is subduing all demons. Wisdom is attaining complete and perfect enlightenment with the wisdom that is in accordance with a single moment of mind. Brahma, thus the Bodhisattva arises from the root of virtue, merit, and wisdom. Then, Brahma Light Adornment said to the Bhagavan: O Bhagavan, it is wonderful that the Tathagata has explained all kinds of Buddha-dharmas from these three fundamental places! After saying this, Bodhisattva Mahasattva Akashagarbha said to Brahma Light Adornment: Brahma, all dharmas are completely gathered in one place. Why is that? The place of emptiness is the place, and all dharmas are completely gathered in emptiness. The place of signlessness is the place, and all dharmas are completely gathered in signlessness. The place of wishlessness is the place, and all dharmas are completely gathered in wishlessness. Similarly, up to the place of non-manifestation is the place. The place of non-attachment is the place. The place of peace is the place. The place of no foundation is the place. The place of the Dharmadhatu is the place. The place of Suchness is the place.

It is the place without attachment. Why is that? Attachment is the nature of non-attachment, all dharmas are the nature of attachment. Aversion is the place without aversion. Why is that? Aversion is the nature of non-aversion, all dharmas are the nature of aversion. Ignorance is the place without ignorance. Why is that? Ignorance is the nature of non-ignorance, all dharmas are the nature of ignorance. The aggregates are the place without aggregates. Why is that? The aggregates are the nature of non-aggregates, all dharmas are the nature of aggregates. Form is the place without form. Why is that? Form is the nature of non-form, all dharmas are the nature of form. Similarly, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are also the place without consciousness. Why is that? Consciousness is the nature of non-consciousness, all dharmas are the nature of non-consciousness. The elements, the sources, and the twelve links of dependent origination are also applied in the same way, ignorance is the place without ignorance. Why is that? Ignorance is the nature of non-ignorance, all Buddha's dharmas are the nature of ignorance. Even birth is the place without birth. Why is that? Birth is the nature of non-birth, all Buddha's dharmas are the nature of birth. All Buddha's dharmas are the place of non-dharma. Why is that? All dharmas are the nature of non-discrimination, all Buddha's dharmas are the nature of all dharmas. These Brahmas are entering the state of no place, which is called the gate of entering the state of Dharma, where all the Buddha's dharmas are perfectly gathered in each place. Brahma, just as all rivers flow into the great ocean, all the Buddha's dharmas are perfectly gathered in one place of the Dharma gate. Brahma, just as all appearances of form are perfectly gathered in the sky, the gate of Dharma

In one place, all the Buddha's teachings are perfectly gathered. Therefore, this place is an inexhaustible place, a place for placing a hundred thousand. Brahma, just like this, for example, in a place for placing a hundred thousand, all the hundred thousand are perfectly gathered. Even if they are placed for a thousand years and then taken out, that hundred thousand will not adhere to that place, and that place will not adhere to the hundred thousand. Similarly, Brahma, even if the Buddha's teachings are counted, placed, and measured for hundreds of thousands of kalpas, the Buddha's teachings will not go into the body or into the mind. Whether spoken or unspoken, it is just like that. Even that which is like that is not like that. Why is that? If something that is like that or not like that is found, then it will become the thing that is found. Because they are neither like that nor not like that, therefore they cannot be called like that or not like that. Brahma, whoever counts the Buddha's teachings is counting all teachings. Why is that? Because all teachings are the Buddha's teachings. Whatever the Buddha's teachings are, they are neither teachings nor non-teachings. Why is that? Because the Buddha's teachings are not conceived by concepts. In order to fully understand concepts, the Buddha's teachings are fully shown. Whatever conception that is without concept and also not without concept, that is neither a teaching nor a non-teaching. Brahma, these Buddha's teachings have such a nature, pure by their own nature, empty by their own nature. One's own nature is no-nature, and no-nature is space. The nature of space is all teachings. When the Bodhisattva Akashagarbha taught this profound speech, from that Brahma's retinue, twelve thousand Brahma beings generated the mind for unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Five thousand Brahma beings, having generated roots of virtue through complete purification, obtained forbearance of the Dharma of non-arising. The Holy Akashagarbha's Questions, Volume Seven. Then, the Bodhisattva Jewel Hand spoke to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Akashagarbha.
