Becoming the way of Dharma with excellent meaning, Endowed with the four Brahma-viharas and gathering, Acting on the five supernormal knowledges, This is the Dharani of the Jewel Lamp. Abiding in the four mindfulnesses, Always in accordance with the four right abandonments, Acting on the four legs of miraculous power, This is the Dharani of the Jewel Lamp. Endowed with the five faculties, Abiding in the five powers, having unwavering strength, Completely endowed with the limbs of enlightenment, This is the Dharani of the Jewel Lamp. Then comply. All sins are completely abandoned. This is the Dharani of the Precious Lamp. It illuminates all worlds, Like the mandala of the light of the sun and moon. Perfectly pure and able to open the eyes, This is the Dharani of the Precious Lamp. Here, the divine eye is pure and without haze. The eye of supreme wisdom is also perfectly pure. Here, the Dharma eye is also purified, The eyes of the victorious and holy ones are perfectly pure. Here, afflictions The demons are also purified. The sins of the five aggregates are completely purified here. Here, the Lord of Death, the demon, is also purified, Here, the demons with their retinues are also destroyed. Here, by dwelling well in the Dharani, One goes to hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddha-fields. One will also see hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas, And hear the unsurpassed Dharma. Having heard the vast Dharma, One holds it with the power of the Dharani's memory. The meaning and words are also endowed with the Dharani, And one teaches it to all sentient beings. By distinguishing well through causes and conditions, One knows that the mind is destroyed in an instant, And one obtains the knowledge to distinguish all Dharmas well, Because one dwells in this Dharani. One obtains fearlessness and the three knowledges without attachment. One also obtains the three eyes perfectly purified. One also obtains the meaning of the three liberations, Here, one obtains and possesses all the Dharanis. If there are many immeasurable Dharanis, And one must demonstrate the immeasurable Dharmas, If one obtains this supreme Dharani, Then one will obtain all of them well. Whatever meditation and whatever liberation, And whatever samadhi and concentration are limitless, With clairvoyance, one enjoys and possesses the Dharani, And one enters well into those limitless states. Just as the ocean is immeasurable, And rivers, lakes, and ponds enter through limitless gates, Likewise, one who holds this Dharani, Enters the gate of limitless Dharmas. One enters the inexhaustible sound, And comprehends it with inexhaustible wisdom. The merit of the one who speaks this Dharani, Will never be exhausted.
