Those who have attained perfect merit, their praise will never be exhausted when spoken. Even if the wisdom to guide all sentient beings becomes great, praising them will be inconceivable for many eons. End of the seventh fascicle. Then, the Bhagavan gave praise to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the King of Dharani Sovereignty, saying: "Well done! Well done! King of Dharani Sovereignty, you have well explained this definitive teaching of Dharani, and how you do not rely on others for these teachings, and how you are of the nature to completely inquire about the profound words of the doors of Dharani from the previous Tathagatas, well done! well done! Therefore, King of Dharani Sovereignty, you should understand this category in this way as well. King of Dharani Sovereignty, in the past, in a time long ago, in immeasurable eons, even more immeasurable, vast, and limitless, which were inconceivable, at that time, in that era, in the eon of Universal Illumination, in the world called Immaculate, there appeared a Tathagata called Immaculate Light Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One. That Immaculate world was as pure as lapis lazuli, as polished as a mirror, as flat as the palm of a hand. In that world, trees of seven precious jewels grew, possessing precious branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits. Lotuses of Jambu River gold, the size of chariot wheels, were various and beautiful to behold. The gods and humans there enjoyed layered precious palaces. Food and drink were obtained merely by thinking, just as the gods of Paranirmitavasavartin enjoy, so too were the enjoyments and uses of the gods and humans there. The gods and humans there had little attachment, little hatred, little delusion, were of good appearance, and were very intelligent. That world had no sun or moon.

have ceased to exist. The Bhagavan Tathagata Immaculate Light, with the light of his body, made clear the Buddha-field that is complete in every way. In that world-realm, there is no designation of day and night, except that the closing of lotuses is called night, and the opening of lotuses is counted as day. The Sangha of Bodhisattvas of the Bhagavan Tathagata Immaculate Light consisted of sixty hundred thousand kotis of Bodhisattvas who had gone forth and were abiding as Bodhisattvas. Countless householders had also truly entered into the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. There was only the Great Vehicle, and no other designation of vehicle. The Bhagavan taught the true words of non-retrogression. The lifespan of the Bhagavan was half a kalpa. People also did not die in the intermediate state. In that Buddha-field, those who lived in tiered houses on the ground were counted as humans, and those who lived in tiered houses in the sky were counted as gods, but there was no difference in color or enjoyment between gods and humans. In that world-realm, there was no other king except the Bhagavan, the unexcelled King of Dharma. All those gods and humans were devoted to making offerings to the Tathagata and listening to the Dharma, and there were no other gods, no other teachers, they did not prostrate to others, they did not do other deeds, and they did not think of others. In that world-realm, there was no designation of woman. Those sentient beings only trained in the three trainings, and there was no designation of falling, and no designation of transgressing the trainings. What are the three trainings? They are the training in higher discipline, the training in higher mind, and the training in higher wisdom. What is the training in higher discipline? It is not abandoning the mind of omniscience and completely abandoning all activities. What is the higher mind?
