我即是，断灭一切烦恼者。对于那些执持此（经典）者，我不会成为障碍。此殊胜之经出现之处，魔无机可乘。忆念怙主所说，应对其进行守护。此后，天子善现向薄伽梵献上这两偈颂：诸佛之菩提，皆从此经中善说，何人执持此经，彼即供养诸佛。怙主，我将此经，向百千俱胝之天众宣说。愿彼等恭敬听闻者，获得圆满菩提之执持。此后，菩萨弥勒向薄伽梵献上这两偈颂：任何入于菩提者，为守护正法之故，我亦将救护彼等，无需祈请善知识。我从兜率天而来，以诸佛之加持力，愿此等之经典，得以极度弘扬。此后，具寿大迦叶向薄伽梵献上这两偈颂：我从导师处，虽已听闻众多千经，但我从未听闻过如此之经典。我已亲身受持此经，并完全领纳，为菩萨之故，愿能极度弘扬。此后，薄伽梵对帝释天、梵天、诸世间守护者、诸天子、诸菩萨及诸大声闻众，给予赞叹道：善哉！善哉！善男子，汝等为完全受持正法之故，发出如此之狮子吼，甚善！甚善！善男子，我嘱咐汝等，汝等应领会。凡入于大乘然尚未获得忍位之有情， 皆因诸佛薄伽梵之加持力，而能完全受持此法类，受持之后亦能完全领会，直至未获得无上正等觉之授记之前，亦不会超越第七如来。凡趋入声闻乘者，

I am the one who eradicates all afflictions. To those who hold this (sutra), I will not be an obstacle. Where this supreme sutra arises, there is no opportunity for demons. Remembering what the Protector said, one should protect it. Then, the son of the gods, Sudatta, offered these two verses to the Bhagavan: The enlightenment of all Buddhas is well explained in this sutra. Whoever holds this sutra, he offers to all Buddhas. Protector, I will explain this sutra to hundreds of thousands of crores of gods. May those who listen respectfully be granted the holding of perfect enlightenment. Then, Bodhisattva Maitreya offered these two verses to the Bhagavan: Whoever enters into enlightenment, for the sake of protecting the true Dharma, I will also protect them, without the need to request a spiritual friend. I have come from Tushita Heaven, by the blessing of the Buddhas, may these sutras be greatly propagated. Then, the Venerable Mahakashyapa offered these two verses to the Bhagavan: From the Teacher, although I have heard many thousands of sutras, I have never heard such a sutra as this. I have personally received this sutra and fully accepted it, for the sake of the Bodhisattva, may it be greatly propagated. Then, the Bhagavan praised Indra, Brahma, the guardians of the world, the sons of the gods, the Bodhisattvas, and the great Shravakas, saying: Well done! Well done! Noble sons, it is excellent, excellent that you have roared such a lion's roar for the sake of fully upholding the true Dharma! Noble sons, I entrust you, you should understand. Those sentient beings who have entered the Great Vehicle but have not yet attained forbearance, all, by the blessing of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, will be able to fully uphold this Dharma category, and after upholding it, they will also be able to fully understand it, and until they have not received the prediction of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, they will not pass beyond the seventh Tathagata. Those transformations will become part of the first assembly of Maitreya Buddha's Shravaka disciples. Any Pratyekabuddha vehicle practitioners who uphold this Dharma discourse will attain enlightenment on their own without hearing it from others after my complete Nirvana. When the Blessed One taught this Dharma discourse requested by the King of Dharani Empowerment, immeasurable beings generated the mind of enlightenment. Countless Bodhisattvas abide in the state of non-retrogression. Countless worlds shook in six ways. Great light also appeared. Scattered flowers were also thrown. Those Bodhisattvas who gathered from the ten directions of the world, in order to offer to the Blessed One and this Dharma discourse, adorned the precious corridor of complete retinue with seven kinds of precious flowers, and specifically spoke this verse: Blessed One, what we should obtain, we have obtained well. Because we have heard such an excellent Dharma discourse, our being here is not in vain. O Blessed One, may the life of Shakyamuni Buddha be prolonged! May this Dharma discourse abide long for the people of Jambudvipa! May those Bhikshus, Bhikshunis, Upasakas, and Upasikas who hold such a Sutra also live long! May they benefit all sentient beings! Then, the Bodhisattva King of Dharani Empowerment said to the Blessed One: O Blessed One, how meaningful, how excellent in words, how well adorned, how greatly joyful to all Bodhisattvas, how destructive to all demons and heretics, how proficient in all Dharmas, how satisfying to the minds of all sentient beings, and how arising for the sake of liberation from all vehicles is this excellent Dharma discourse!

It is wonderful that all the Tathagatas are followed by the qualities, and that all diligently show no ignorance. O Bhagavan, what is the name of this Dharma? How should it be held? After asking this, the Bhagavan said to the Bodhisattva King of Dhāraṇī: Therefore, King of Dhāraṇī, you should hold this Dharma called the Great Compassion of the Tathagata. You should also hold it as the prophecy of hearing that the deeds of the Tathagata are complete. After the Bhagavan said this, the Bodhisattva King of Dhāraṇī, the assembly of Bodhisattvas, and all those assemblies of Śrāvakas, and the world with gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas rejoiced and praised what the Bhagavan said. The Mahāyāna Sūtra called "The Exposition of the Great Compassion of the Holy Tathagata" is complete. Translated and revised by the Indian Khenpo Śīlendrabodhi and the reviser Lotsāwa Bandita Yeshe De, and finalized by judging with new words. The Mahāyāna Sūtra called "The Definitive Exposition of the Great Compassion of the Holy Tathagata."
