That which is called 'without' is without karma and without ripening results. That which is called 'edge' is good and non-good. That which is called 'return' is without manifestation of activity. That which is called 'edge' is with fault and without fault. That which is called 'return' is without duality. That which is called 'edge' is karma and afflictions, etc. That which is called 'return' is naturally luminous. That which is called 'edge' is self and non-self. That which is called 'return' is extremely pure. That which is called 'edge' is samsara and nirvana. That which is called 'return' is all dharmas naturally completely in nirvana. Son of lineage, thus showing the infinite is immeasurable. Showing 'return' is immeasurable. A Bodhisattva who dwells in this Dharani of Infinite Return is, Following the infinite. Following the Dharma 'Return', even if teaching the Dharma for immeasurable hundreds of thousands of myriads of eons, one cannot exhaust the edge of this Dharani's wisdom with meaning and words. This is entering into focusing on the Dharani of Infinite Return, and showing following, and following the realization of the light of wisdom, and following the realization of the wisdom without dimness at the gate of purity. Son of lineage, what is the Great Ocean Mudra Dharani? Son of lineage, for example, in the great four-continent world, all that appears as form, or appears as the form of sentient beings, or appears as the form of mountains, or appears as the form of trees, or appears as the form of grass, tree sap, medicine, forests, and crops, or appears as the form of the moon, sun, stars, jewels, clouds, fire, and lightning, or appears as the form of villages, cities, and towns, or appears as the form of palaces and enjoyments, or appears as the form of gardens, wells, lakes, lotuses, and waterfalls, or appears as the form of all uses or complete uses, whether bad, medium, or excellent, all these appearances of form are contained in the great ocean, not few, not many, without remainder, therefore it is called the great ocean.
