The ground has been leveled. The net of bells and chimes is shaken. Held by the body of a Bodhisattva. Blessed is the extent of a universe of three thousand great thousands. In order to make offerings to the Tathagata, such a precious umbrella was blessed, and a rain of flowers was also showered down. The instruments and sounds were blessed to continuously emanate without ceasing. Then, with these verses, the Bhagavan was praised: Universally appearing, universally radiant. Showing all meanings, universally possessing eyes. Skilled in the self-born nature of Dharma. Endowed with all inconceivable qualities. The supreme being emitted light. The face is also purified and radiates light. O Guide, even on my own body, having circumambulated a hundred times, abide on the crown of my head. Because of the touch of the light of the guide of men, whatever prior recollection I have gained, wisdom and courage, and appearance, are likewise grasped. In a thousand ways, it has become particularly excellent. My body is very calm, and my mind is completely pure. My wisdom has become joyful and equal. Furthermore, the Buddha's infinite wisdom, and courage, have completely entered my body. For the great power of the Buddha, who is difficult to approach, the small cannot please him. May the Buddha grant permission, for the benefit of all beings. Please pray to the Buddha. Please request the conduct of perfect Bodhicitta, and the arising of the world's guides, and the various manifestations of appearance and renunciation, and the empowerment wisdom. Please comprehend the supreme and excellent vehicle, and the gathering of limitless and vast retinues, and those who seek vast Dharma meanings, for their benefit, please also pray to the Buddha. Please completely destroy the mandala of demons, please completely uphold the Buddha's teachings. O Bhagavan, you are the excellent treasury of Dharma without decay. Now is the time to proclaim it to sentient beings. O Supreme being, with infinite wisdom, I cannot comprehend you, O Bhagavan. Lord of the Earth, King who is well-trained! Please explain the realm of activity of the guides. Then, the Bodhisattva King of Dhāraṇī Mastery, having praised the Bhagavan with these verses, said to the Bhagavan: O Bhagavan, the realm of the Tathāgata is inconceivable, and the realm of activity of the Bodhisattva is immeasurable. O Bhagavan, I know that the Tathāgata is one who teaches the Dharma without ever tiring, and having seen that the Tathāgata abides in great compassion, not abandoning all sentient beings, I wish to ask about this matter. O Bhagavan, what are the ornaments of the Bodhisattvas? O Bhagavan, with what ornaments are the Bodhisattvas adorned, so that they are beautiful when practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva? O Bhagavan, how does a Bodhisattva obtain the inconceivable light of the Dharma, be free from the darkness of ignorance, be without doubt, and be thoroughly trained in the great doors of the Dharma? O Bhagavan, how does a Bodhisattva possess great compassion that does not abandon all sentient beings, abide in great compassion, be supremely endowed, and abide without abandoning all sentient beings? O Bhagavan, how do Bodhisattvas enter into the proper activity of a Bodhisattva, perform virtuous actions, and have no end to the suffering of actions? O Bhagavan, how can a Bodhisattva conquer the Māras and adversaries, be free from doubt, and thus enter the realm of the Tathāgata, manifest excellence in the realm of the Bodhisattva, enter into the thoughts of all sentient beings, and fully understand the actions of the minds of all sentient beings, purify the Buddha-fields, destroy the maṇḍalas of the Māras, uphold the teachings of the Tathāgata correctly, and quickly obtain mastery over all Dharmas, so that the Tathāgata, with extremely discerning wisdom, enters into the conduct of the Bodhisattva, thus excellently revealing the door of the sublime Dharma?
