E! Always have a firm mind in the Dharma, discern the various natures of sentient beings, karma and the world, as well as the realms, maturation and retinue, and nirvana. Differentiating these is known by the sons of the Victorious One, and that is called the Bodhisattva who has generated the supreme mind. The all-knowing ones, after analyzing the past, present, and future, as well as all phenomena, understand how the ultimate arising of accomplishments and any goodness, as well as the self-arisen ones, is achieved. All those noble Buddhas know that they follow the equality of the three times. They never differentiate the distinctions of equality, and that is entering into samadhi without distinguishing the three times. Whoever has such benefits, that is the Bodhisattva of the fourth ground. These are all diligently practiced, and that Bodhisattva will surely arise for the sake of enlightenment. Thus, it is the Bodhisattva of the fifth ground, which is said to be the perfect application. Following skillful means, it is accomplished by starting with pure merit. Thus, no matter how diligently one does good deeds, it becomes the refuge of all the world, and one desires to benefit and obtain happiness, as well as compassion and liberating beings. In order to subdue those who are harmful to the world, one guides and rejoices greatly. Wanting to subdue many sentient beings, and with the power of the mind of nirvana, one is also strong. Knowing that all the world is without end, similarly immeasurable and countless, as well as unequaled, inconceivable, incomparable, immeasurable, and the nature of emptiness, immovability, and non-existence. That is the Bodhisattva of the fifth ground, endowed with all application, benefit, and compassion. The following of him is like this, taught by those who possess all qualities. That is for all infinite sentient beings, and there is no ignorance about the nature of Dharma. Possessing extreme intelligence, free from concepts, without discrimination, not distinguished by the world including the gods. The Buddha, the Dharma, and the Bodhisattva, as well as the praise and non-praise of actions, and whether sentient beings are small or large, even if one hears these, one will not waver from contemplation. Whether sentient beings are afflicted or pure, easy to tame or difficult to tame, whether the Dharmadhatu is small or vast.

Or will it be destroyed? Or will it be formed? Even if one hears "the Dharmadhatu exists" or "the Dharmadhatu does not exist," That Bodhisattva who understands the three times, Surely thinks and discerns everything, And has great faith in the Buddha's teachings. Hearing of the absence of characteristics and the absence of self-nature, And the unreal nature, false and solitary, Like the illusory nature, unwavering, Such supreme and peaceful Dharma is listened to. Thus, the irreversible Bodhisattva Surely discerns whether the Buddha's Dharma and Bodhisattvas, And conduct exist or not. Even if asked, "Does it arise or not arise?" one will not turn back. Has the Thus-Gone One passed away or not passed away? Has he not come or is he not not come? Has he appeared or not appeared, is he exhausted or not exhausted? Likewise, is there one characteristic or no characteristic? Is it one or many, many forms, Ultimate words and phrases, real and unreal, All these are fabricated, in other ways, The irreversible Bodhisattva has faith in them. Absence of characteristics and presence of characteristics, Absence of self-nature and representation by characteristics, Separated and mutually combined, Having heard these, one will ultimately enter into them. The youthful Bodhisattva, With body, speech, and likewise mind, Transforms actions that have results, And shows birth here as he wishes. He can understand the thoughts of others, And practice the wishes of those people. He can know the conduct of sentient beings and the Dharma that accords with them, And the destruction and formation of realms. As he wishes, he quickly attains direct realization by giving. The mind can enter all directions. Even after hearing the Dharma praising the Sugata, He will not be discouraged by it. Fully knowing and shaking the realms, Likewise, blessing and discerning, And how to go to countless realms in an instant, One should speak of going to the realms. He will ask countless questions. How are the bodies, and also shows the mind-made body. To that, there is an immeasurable combination of sounds, And even in an instant, he can speak of countless Buddhas. Which is the Bodhisattva's regent, He knows the conduct of sentient beings as it is. Those afflicted continuums and habitual patterns.

The land and, what is the realm of practice, what is the union, and, What are the different dharmas and causes, and, The divisions of the world and the beginning and end, and, The truths of convention and the ultimate truth, To fully understand all of these is to be wise. In the royal retinue, being skilled in providing everything, And how to universally practice there, And the place and likewise the things to be done in entering, And what the royal retinue is like, examining it, And what is the empowerment of the righteous king, And what are the blessings and subjugation of others, Entering the Dharma and expressing the meaning of the teachings, This is the entry of the crown prince into the position. That alone is its ultimate meaning, As it has been taught, it will not change into something else. When will the activities of life be abandoned, The crown prince who possesses virtue will manifestly turn towards Buddhahood. What is the empowerment? It is the only son of the Sugata, The eldest, most excellent, and ultimately perfect in nature. A single drop of hair can be used to measure the water level, Here, it cannot be understood by counting thoughts. The conduct of the princes is like this, Here, all the fields of action for sentient beings, Are ground into fine dust and completely satisfied. To say that there are countless such quantities, All of that is known here by the Bodhisattva. The past and likewise the future Buddhas, and, Those who dwell in the ten directions, And the Pratyekabuddhas and likewise the Shravakas, The Bodhicitta that has become the seed, that arises. What is initially said to be Bodhicitta, That is also countless in whatever way it is, If this entire world realm is pervaded, What is there to say above that? Then, the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra said this to the Bodhisattva Dharmamati: "Son of good family, you have spoken well about the Dharani of the Jewel Casket Seal. Son of good family, the qualities of the Buddhas are inconceivable; those sentient beings who merely hear the name of this Dharma category will also be close to omniscience. What need is there to mention those who hold this Dharma category, recite and understand it, and practice it in accordance with reality? They will certainly become Buddhas." Dharmamati said, "O son of the Victorious One, it is so."
